Harrison Hall Hotel

Average hotel. Best off season pricing for a hotel located right on the boardwalk. So wasn’t expecting much.. If your looking for a place to sleep ,shower and has a nice pool along with being right on the boardwalk . It’s decent but is rough around the edges as it shows it age. Sunrise from their porch was awesome.

The check-in was easy and the attendant was very pleasant. The room was clean, however the hallways, stairways and elevator appeared to not have been vacuumed for a few days. Being beachfront, having hallways and stairways that are carpeted, or the rooms for that matter, is not a good idea. Even though the room was clean, you could feel the dampness in the carpet. Not a pleasant feeling.

The hotel is in a great location on the boardwalk with rocking chairs on the front patio and a really nice pool and pool bar in the back. The lobby has a coffee bar and really friendly staff. Parking available beside the hotel. However, the room was way smaller than any that were pictured during booking- like really small. Also, you could tell that whoever cleaned didnt really know how to clean properly. They left someone's socks behind the dresser, spilled soda was in the ice bucket, and the bathroom floor was not very clean. Minor things, but the comforter on the bed was also like 50 years old. But the bed was clean with clean sheets and we were fine there for a few days. I just had to sani wipe some things to feel better lol.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The check in process was my first warning to leave. The 2 girls yes girls not women were a disgrace very unprofessional unpleasant rude individuals. I was told check in time was 3pm ok no problem however after sitting and waiting I witnessed not 1 but 4 couples get checked in and when I asked why was I not able to check in I was told “oh they got a different room”. Continuing to wait 2:57pm I hear giggles and chatter w from behind the desk again unprofessional. At 3pm exactly I was called up to the front to say my room was ready. I get to my room and see the housekeeper in the hall and just asked excuse me did you just happen to finish this room she replied no ma’am that room been ready. Hmmm way different answer than the girls told me at the desk. I replied thank you. We opened the door and if I could post what them room looked like you would not believe it. Needless to say the pictures online is not correct at all totally different. It smelled the shower had rust and a hole on the side. The toilet was chipped up and stained. I can’t speak for the other rooms but this room was horrible. Needless to say we immediately left out and went back to the front desk where I was once again met with snickers again unprofessional. I spoke with the manager who did apologize to me. I would not EVER come here and I would not recommend this piece of crap to anyone

They Over Charged my Credit Card and said they would issue me a refund. Well 1 month later and no refund. I would not stay here ever again !! I am DISPUTING THIS ON MY CARD ....This place is a RIP OFF and Rooms are outdated too !! No place to park, had to park 2 blocks away !!

I usually will never write a bad review-- but I must say there was nothing good to say about this hotel -- walked into smell-- dirty and stained carpet ( look like blood or poop stain on carpet Infront of bathroom. I STARTED CALLING SURROUNDING HOTELS TO GET A ROOM -- either full or price was triple.. My sister owns a condo on 124 st where we left most of our belongings in the room on a wooden bench and we drove to my sister on motorcycle..( for the 3 nights) we left our truck and small bike trailer in their over flow lot with a pass.. next day we came back to check on truck and trailer ( which I told them at check in we has.. to a 8x11 yellow paper threatening to be towed AT OUR EXPENSE.. at that point we put bike in trailer and drove truck-trailer and bike to 124st where we stayed until check out Sunday am 8:15 am we got our stuff and rolled.. I never went to the desk to complain because when i spoke to other guess they were having the same experience.. terribly dirty rooms that smell ( also want to mention when i pulled the cover down to expose the fitted sheet- appeared to look like dead small bugs--possible bed bugs.. Monday when we were at home i received a fraud alert for the same credit card i check into for 49.80 for Costal Home Decor Cov. was not me--the only time i used the card was to check in ( sad to think one of the clerks tried to use my card.. I have REACHED OUT TO MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND EXPLAINED EVERY EVENT DISPUTING MY CHARGE FOR $837.00 FOR NOT STAYING THERE --HAD TO STAY AT CONDO ON 124TH AND PAY OVER 200.00 IN PARKING FOR CONCERT.. SITE WOULD NOT ACCEPT PHOTOS
