The location is super with beautiful beachfront, a huge guarded pool, and the best happy hour in OCMD with live music everyday. However, the facilities are dated, rundown, and badly in need of upkeep and remodeling. The carpeting is cringe worthy, the bedspreads are faded, and windows, etc. need to be washed. The air conditioner in the rooms work well and the TVs are nice.One building has no elevator for 3 floors and the other has one elevator for 5 floors. There is always a wait for it to arrive. A positive for me is I left something behind by mistake and housekeeping turned it in. The staff was very friendly the entire stay!

We have been coming here for many years. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and housekeeping is great. All staff members are friendly and helpful. Coconuts is fantastic, great food and good live music. Happy hour is a plus.

The ENTIRE Staff at Castle in the Sand is TOP NOTCH!! From the front office to the security team, the entire operation is a well oiled machine with their top concern being Customer Satisfaction! Do yourself a favor and book your Next Stay at "The Castle" !!

The place is good for a weekend, it was a bit cold . We were on the lower floor people upstairs with kids running around & making noise was annoying because I couldn't sleep

Quaint/ comfortable hotel with a great view. There is no elevator in the smaller hotel but it’s only 3 floors so we didn’t mind a little exercise. Olympic size pool. Great price during aprils stay. Far enough away from the crowd with all the convince to downtown.
