Quality Inn Boardwalk

the place to stay is the worst. we asked for oceanfront room. WRONG we received a room with balcony looking at Holiday Inn but if you look right you could see the ocean. they would not give us an ocean front. AC had 2 settings cold or off. Had to open slide door to get warm. microwave wobbly no water pressure for shower or toilet. Never Again. housekeeping was delayed cleaning our room bc they had to set up new check ins first. pool was nice.

Even though the furniture is dated it is still very functional. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Need to stop in and eat at the costal salt, food is excellent. We had an ocean front room; the view was great. The hotel is on the boardwalk which is right out the back door.

the tub was clogged had to call to get it unclogged couple days later it was again. You can't lock the sliding glass door the lock is so rusted plus you can't open it you have to really put you weight on it to pull on it the door coming into the room cold air comes through door plus I am speaking for older people that can't lift their legs in order to get in the room and to walk out on the balcony it should be flat surface

Several issues within the room. We had a two bed room ocean front #419. We opened the door and were confronted but the heavy smell of mold. I checked the wall and there were spots on the wall that looked like mold. We left to room and set the heat to 70 as it was 68 in the room. Two hours later we returned and it was still 68. I went to the front desk and said that my heater was not working. They said they would send someone to fix our problem. Shortly after I arrived in the room a man with an electric oil plug in heater arrived. He said just plug it in and you will have heat. Next, I went to use the four burned electric stove and only two burners worked. We then decided to open the sliding door to the balcony to see if fresh air would lessen the musty smell. The was no screen on the door must the smell was so bad that we just left the door open. We had to use a bit of force to slide the closet doors open because the flood slide was covered in rust. In the evening I noticed wind coming into the room and finally figured out that the outside door had no weather ***** on the hinge side of the door. I used toilet paper stuffed in the crack to stop the wind coming into the room. The water was not hot but just tolerable to take a shower. The door leading to the main part of the building had a handle that was not working properly. The heat lamp in the bathroom had been replaced with a light bulb and not a heat lamp. For a total review I must list the positives. The carpets were in good condition. The refrigerator worked well. All the lights worked well. The TV was large and worked well. The internet was as good as any hotel I have stayed in during the past fifteen years. The wall of the bathroom had been update. The bathroom was in good shame although a little dated. The beds were comfortable. The couch was sagging when I sat on it and I weigh 185lbs. In many hotels the door lock have issues but this room had locks that always worked well. The pool area was clean and the exercise room had well working equipment and a large tv. My wife did see another heater being taken out of another room when house keeping was in the room.

The room was clean but is in severe need of updating. We had a king suite and the kitchenette was nice and had everything we needed. Pool needs cleaned more often since unfortunately people do not rinse their feet after coming in from beach. Two out of the three mornings in lobby there were several young men sleeping on the lobby couches so didn’t really care for that and couldn’t understand why management permitted it.

*****Trent-Scott Family Reunion****** We came up for our Family Reunion. We really enjoyed the property and the view. Ms. Gerri and the staff were great! We will definitely return when we are in the area. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
