The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the water park. The restaurant in the hotel serves good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sunrise in the morning is beautiful, but for the price of more than 8,000 days, the facilities are average, and the swimming pool is not clean. The next day I had to call someone to clean up and the cleaning was very sloppy. The hygiene needs to be improved!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a 3-day getaway with our grand daughter. We arrived early and our hotel room was not ready, but were able to provide a contact phone number for the hotel to call us when our room was ready. We also received a parking pass to park our car in the garage early and the option to gain access to the hotel pools if we wanted to swim before check-in. We walked to a restaurant to get something to eat, and before our food arrived, to our surprise, we received a call, our room was ready. The hotel is very clean and looks to be updated. Upon check-in, we were provided freshly baked warm chocolate chip cookies. We didn't have any issues with our hotel room. The room was clean and it was nice to have a full size refrigerator, full size stove, sink and microwave in the room. There are three hotel pools. (2 outdoor pools which include a roof top pool and 1 indoor). All the pools were functioning. We only frequented the indoor pool which was clean, heated and included a hot tub. There were a few issues with the hotel elevators malfunctioning which set off the hotel alarms to evacuate early in the morning on two days, but this was no fault to the hotel management. The elevators were fixed within a good time frame. I highly recommend this hotel but there are a few issues to be aware: 1) Although the hotel is Oceanfront view, the hotel is NOT located on the Boardwalk. You can walk out the hotel and reach the sandy beach within a few feet but the actual Boardwalk is about a 6 minute or so walk away. 2) There is plenty of hotel garage parking. The parking garage is well lit with nice size parking spaces. HOWEVER, parking is not free. I didn't realize (or maybe I overlooked) until I received the final hotel invoice, hotel parking is $10.00 per day. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night. The food was good but some of the portions were a bit small. The second night we decided to venture out and we went to a good buffet restaurant. If you are looking for a good Buffet for dinner, try The Bon Fire which is located about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend this hotel (unless you actually want to be on the Boardwalk).

We made a reservation for 5 and was stuck in a room for 4. No one will answer the chat and I don’t feel like going to try and find someone downstairs to fix this issue for the 12 hours we will be here. We will just squeeze in like uncomfortable sardines. Partial ocean view is over the peaks of the indoor pool. Overall- disappointed.

We have been staying here for 5 years and over the past year things have went downhill. On the first night we went to bed after being on the road since 4am only to smell Urine next to the bed. This is not a pet friendly hotel but we only assume the term "service animal" is being misused and many pets are staying here being Unattended. The manager came up with some carpet refresher so that we could at least sleep and promised to clean the carpets the next day. I asked for a new room the next day and manager said cross that bridge when we get there is the carpet clean does not work. Well it worked for 2 days then the smell reappeared but by then we were living in a room and were not feeling like packing and repacking. I was only offered a $50 credit which is ridiculous for an over $3000 stay and the smell of urine. I understand you cant control "service" pets but you need to designate rooms, get a urine light after each "service" stay and make them responsible for replacing the carpet. A cleaning doesn't cut it. The AC also leaks on my kid's head every night. The Marlin Moon food has went downhill. They used to serve a beautiful house salad we always ordered when we got pizza but now it is a head of lettuce and mostly yellow onion. The cleaning lady Mania/Maria was amazing she should get a raise for dealing with urine rooms and having to do extra work like changing all bedding because after the urine rug we requested all new bedding.. Pool bar was great as were bartenders. Front desk was not as friendly as years past. Rooftop pool was closed with no warning on website or at check-in. Tried to go change in that bathroom as we do every yr when we get there to only find it closed. Pool was filled but closed.

Stayed June 2025. The room had a persistent odor and visible stains on the sofa bed. Staff responded and attempted to clean the area, but the issue remained. Mold was discovered on the final day. These concerns were reported during and after the stay. Management offered one complimentary night for future use. I requested further resolution proportional to the full stay but did not receive a response. This review is shared to inform others of the experience and help the property address serious quality concerns.

I don’t even know where to start. The only saving grace is Pat. He is an amazing employee! Checked in on the Hilton app, and selected our room. Imagine my surprise when we check in and we don’t have the room I selected. Not a big deal but then why bother checking in on the Hilton app and selecting your room? Check in with Pat was great as usual. Our room was clean sort of. Definitely a lot of aging and needs a refresh again. There is mold all in the shower, there is mold above the bed where the AC output is. The AC drips right on the bed. I had to tape a wash rag up so it wouldn’t drip on my head. You can contact me for room number if you wish. Main areas were debatable as to whether they were clean. The indoor pool was definitely not clean, very cloudy with lots of sand in it. I understand you can’t control what guests do but it definitely needs a deep cleaning. Here’s where it gets dicey . One elevator down one extremely debatable I was afraid to even leave the room or go back up to the room without my husband for fear of getting trapped in an elevator. If I did leave without my husband I went down the exit steps which were disgusting (sand and trash) . For $1300 for two nights, this is not what I would expect at all nor has it been the experience we’ve had for many years. Hence the title of this review. Also, there is a $20 charge on our credit card then I now need to go question the front desk about. We charged nothing to our room. I have no email as to our final bill, thankfully I do have alert set up on our credit card that’s how I know there’s a charge. I am writing this review to give management a heads up that things need to change, I may pull the other two bookings that we have, of course I need to speak with my husband first it’s his money. I am also writing this review to give other guests a heads up as to what to expect. It is very different than years past. I don’t know what has transpired but again, for the price you pay, I would expect better.
