A new favorite place to stay in OCMD Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful part of Ocean City. The view of the bay was gorgeous and the pool was clean. We even had a little turtle visitor while at the pool. The condo was cozy, clean, and had plenty of space for my family of 4. We definitely plan on visiting again.

Second time staying here. Unit very clean, furnishings are dated but usable. Carpet appears to need a very good cleaning, if not replacement. There for beach/siteseeing. It was more than adequate for our needs.

Lucayan has no onsite maintenance, office is closed on Sundays in a beach resort!! we arrived on Friday used our passcode and got in immediately. Upon entering we noticed some maintenance issues so I called the Management Office. The person seemed "iffy" on how to help but said she would have someone from maintenance call me. Six days later, no call. They are close to some restaurants and Mini golf. The walk to the ocean is 2 blocks. If you want a crosswalk then the walk is 4 blocks. To get to the Boardwalk you will need to drive or take the bus. We don't do a lot of cooking in the unit, we prefer to eat out so the kitchen was adequate for coffee. It would be nice if they specified whether the coffee maker was brew or Kcups. I can do both but would be nice to know before hand what to pack. Read reviews and do research before you book here, as maintenance s non existent.

The Lucayan is a great location for OC beaches, dining and shopping, but otherwise is a very average resort. There is no onsite management or staff, so any issues are likely to go unresolved. We had kids jumping up and down in the unit above us and running up and down the halls at all hours. We did call the number for management but nothing was done. I've also read this on others' reviews - very unresponsive staff. We did enjoy the color changing pool, though.

Check in process is not clear, as you will need to call management to get the room door code. There is no on site management. Size of unit, access, cleanliness, and location are all very good to excellent. Management was responsive to a sink disposal not working, but not responsive to needing extra towels. Overall experience was very good. Although not beach-front property, it is located walking distance to beach. It is in a good location for safety and security of family. Close to grocery, activities, and many restaurants.

Check in for this resort is a little different but very easy. Just called the day before and got the door code. Used the code to let our selves into the unit when we arrived. All relative info is posted in parking garage and/or in the unit. Unit was large with 3 sliding glass doors (1 in each bedroom & in LR) onto a very long balcony with bay and ocean (in the distance) views. Bed was very comfortable. Unit could have been a little cleaner. Coffee on fridge door, sticky kitchen counters and floor and the LR carpet had some stains and should be replaced.

Visited in off season. Very quiet when I visited. Never did figure out all the light switches. Very antiquated equipment (tv's, fans, lights, etc). Nice that there were dishwasher, dish, and laundry start pack, but some basic things like salt & pepper would have been nice. Temperature regulation was very weird. FYI, the fireplace was pointless since it was a "bring your own firewood and then clean up after yourself" instead of gas. This would have been nice to know since it was 40s-60s when I visited. Parking spots are tiny. Fire alarm made random beeps all week. The alarm by the elevator was going off all week. The unit beside mine had a package setting outside the door all week.

My daughter and I recently stayed at a property that Vacasa manages for her senior weekend. I travel a lot and this had to be one of the worst, if not the worst experiences I have had. To begin with, from the time we checked in at 4 PM to the next morning we did not have any clean bedding and had to sleep on the couches. I called multiple times and was told that someone would call and we received zero calls. I even stopped by the office and was told that the local manager would call me again she did not call, even though I was told she was in the office. On the second day, I called again because the bedding we received a day late was not the correct size for the king bed that we had. When the young man came to bring us the correct bedding, I asked him to call the RM whose name was Dylan. I overheard the unprofessional conversation from Dylan to the young man. He was complaining about the number of calls he had received about our stay. On top of not having the bedding that we needed, the room had not been cleaned from the previous stay. There were things spilled on the side of the bed, on the wall in the bathroom, in the fridge and freezer, on the floor, and there was trash in the trashcan and decorations in the bedroom, as well as tape hanging on the doorway from decorations. Additionally, the dirty bedding and dirty and damp towels were left in the rooms and on the bed in a pile, in one of the rooms. To date, I have not heard back from the RM, Dylan, who claimed that he needed to speak to his supervisor to determine a reasonable resolution for the many inconveniences we experience. Dylan was also supposed to get back to us about a reasonable compensation for the inconveniences, one of them being having to sleep on the couches the first night, because we did not have any clean bedding. We had to cover ourselves with our jackets. Along with all the time I spent calling and being placed on hold. The thing is, I waited and waited for a call from the RM and then when the young man came to bring us our bedding, finally, he called the RM and he answered immediately. What was even more troublesome to me is the way that he talked about us to the young man. He didn’t know I could hear him. I felt sorry for the young man that had to hear that with me standing there. He was lovely and sincerely apologized. I understand being short staffed, but some things should be made a priority ie clean bedding at least before we went to bed. As mentioned, we had to sleep in the chairs the first night with our jackets covering us. How is that okay? I reached out to Vacasa via Facebook and IG on 6/22/22 and they had a hard time reaching local management. They assured me that they would let me know as soon as they had spoken to someone. I followed up multiple times and was told they could not get a hold of anyone. I followed up with them again today and was told the following “Good morning. Location is good. 1 of the bathrooms could use some upgrade. Some pots and pans were not clean/ greasy. When check in, we saw long hairs on kitchen towel (someone folded the towel didn't they see it?). Some areas/items were dusty. Service was terrible, the heater went down to 50s at night and it was cold. Called twice and no one came/called back. Be aware, supplies is available for start up only, but not for the week/entire stay which SHOULD MENTION on the website/during booking (we drove and could bring everything instead of shopped for everything during out vacation)!!!
