Hyatt Place Ocean City Oceanfront

Excellent location, room cleanliness, and helpful staff. The rooms are very well designed with comfortable furniture. We will be visiting again.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. Here are some highlights and a few suggestions for improvement: Highlights: Comfortable Rooms: The accommodations were spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after a long day. Friendly Staff: The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Suggestions for Improvement: Free Breakfast: Having a complimentary breakfast would significantly enhance the guest experience. It’s a nice way to start the day without the hassle of finding a place to eat. Bigger Outdoor Pool: The outdoor pool area is lovely, but it could benefit from being larger. More space would allow for a better experience, especially during peak times when guests are looking to relax by the water. Beverage Kiosk: The beverage kiosk is a great addition, but providing hot water at all times for tea or instant coffee would be a fantastic touch. It’s a small detail that can make a big difference for guests who enjoy warm drinks. Front Desk Presence: While the staff were friendly, having someone available at the front desk at all times would be helpful. This would ensure that guests can easily get assistance whenever needed.

We stayed for 7 days with family. Staff was very professional and prompt. I was although surprised not see so many dogs. I don’t mind dogs just not the breakfast area. Otherwise the rooms are big and bed is very comfy! Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms on separate reservations because some family member wanted to join the trip the last minute. Although the two reservations were different types of rooms (partial-ocean view+ city view), per our request, the staff arrange two partial-ocean view rooms that are really close to each other.

Positives: Perfect location. Good lunch/dinner spots right underneath and next door. On the boardwalk but not the bright and busy sections. Room was clean and updated. Negatives: Elevators are slow with one broken down for almost an entire day. Hallways outside of rooms were never swept. Parking spots under the hotel are so tight, we ended up parking on street everyday. Overall I’d say a 4/5 stay.

We loved our stay! Right in the boardwalk but just far enough away from busier area. Great staff! Pool is perfect and so nice to have a pool bar for some yummy drinks during the hot days. Only odd thing was the area they call The Patio on the 5th floor. Was a fun space with cornhole and ping pong games but you had to call maintenance to get access. Should be hotel key accessed. The Franco’s restaurant on site was soooo good! Pizza took me back to Naples!
