Do not be fooled by the photos or other reviews. This hotel is entirely mis-represented online. This place is a dump. Smells of damp and mold as soon as you walk into the lobby. We were given a room on the first floor and the problems started there. The hallways are dark, moldy, and damp. Our room wasn’t any better. It was dank and smelled of mold. The door had pry-marks on it as if someone had tried to break in. Carpets were damp and walls and bedding were filthy. When I brought this up with the front desk, we were offered a room on the second floor which wasn’t any better. While I will give credit for a beautiful outdoor pool area, considering that the week we were here was rainy, I would have given it a chance had the indoor pool been a viable option, but it was horrible. It is in a basement room with only a few chairs and dirty water. I wouldn’t let my kids swim in it as it appeared terribly unclean. The hallway here by the indoor pool was also SOPPING wet. We opted to leave this hotel and booked the Doubletree instead. Best decision ever.

This was just what we needed, close enough to everything but not right in the mix. Staff was nice could hear the waves from the balcony. They also was nice enough to ship property I left back to my home

This was the best hotel we’ve stayed at in any vacation. Staff was amazing and any issues were addressed fast. The pool bar was a great experience and Tim made the best drinks.

The receptionist, Andrea, I believe, demonstrated exceptional service. Her kind and personable interaction was matched only by the high quality of the service she provided. She remembered me as a returning patron, and offered insight regarding services offered by the hotel of which I was unaware. She is a tribute to what hospitality service should look like.

The rooms are old and dirty smells like mold. The carpet smell wet and dirty. You will even get a headache from being in there. The manager Nisha is rude and unprofessional. False advertisement. The pictures online is not the room you will get. The sofa in the entrance is dirty and filthy. The elevator bottom on the 6 floor doesn’t allow you to go down.

We had one of the oceanfront pool view rooms and it was just fabulous. This Holiday Inn has made some renovations and upgrades in appliances that we appreciated in our room. This is the 3rd year coming here and first time during peak season. We found the service to be excellent, particularly Emily at the front desk who helped with the details for 2 rooms with several people sharing the cost. She could not have been more friendly, professional and efficient. The hotel is also in a good area--not as much traffic as downtown but close to some excellent restaurants. Also, our family had a special birthday party at this location and special shout out to Renee and Janet for their tireless work in making sure our every request was fulfilled.

A fantastic beach getaway! We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and we'll definitely be back! The location is perfect – you get direct beach access while still being nicely set away from the busiest crowds. This made going back and forth to the beach with the kids an absolute breeze. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our family. The oceanfront balcony offered an absolutely beautiful view, which we enjoyed immensely. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit, making us feel welcome. We especially loved the outdoor pool area with its swim-up bar; it was a huge hit and had a wonderfully fun atmosphere for everyone.
