Tidelands Caribbean Boardwalk Hotel and Suites

Love this hotel is the best I have stay in OC. very happy with everything.

Only having one elevator sure slowed things down especially with check in/out. Other than that it was a great place to stay and a great location

We have stayed at the Tidelands several times, and they never fail to satisfy. The staff is super nice and accommodating to our needs. We live the fact we are on the boardwalk without the boardwalk prices.

Our beds were unbelievably comfortable. We were in a suite! The only thing was my dad had no remote to his TV on his side of the room but other than that we loved our stay! Would definitely stay again! Very accommodating for a small family! Rooms were VERY neat and clean! During busy holiday weekend there were people in our lot that shouldn’t have been so it made it a little hard to park if we left!

This place is really not that bad! Does it need some upkeep? Sure! The hotel is quiet, guests respectful and the front desk girls are very pleasant. There were many upset guests that had to wait longer for their room as housekeeping seemed to be behind- but we didn’t have a wait and they were able to honor our top floor/corner room request too. I had to go ask for a shower curtain lol, weird. Maintenance was up in less than 10 minutes. We had a noisy neighbor on day 1, loud music on the balcony with many people at midnight. We let the front desk know, and it was resolved in five minutes! Room was clean, did not have an odor, air conditioner and fridge were on and cold. Would recommend to request more towels immediately. They provide bare minimum. Would reccomend others to stay, we had a great stay!

This is the worst hotel. I personally ever stayed in. We’re supposed to be getting in our room between three and four that went by the wayside quick there was other angry patrons waiting for rooms. We finally got into the room around the shower tub surrounds all mildew. There’s four of us we asked for towels, and to have one of the beds straightened out because it looks like they just threw a flat sheet on it and we were told that they only do room service twice a week yesterday we asked for additional pillows and blankets. I had to call the office three times over a two and a half hour span before we even got any blankets and pillows. Anyway, we asked for clean towels this morning. That’s when they told us that they only do your a week we ask for extra towels to be brought up. It is 1234 called at 8:30 this morning. Still no towels. I don’t recommend staying here. Turns out the pool is on fifth floor outside pool and there’s a 49 person capacity, never heard of such a thing contacted the office about why our room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be. He says they’re going to refund us $107. We’ll see if that happens also while we were waiting for our room, I walked right up to the edge where the boardwalk starts fell flat on my damn face and now I’m stuck in this hotel room for seven days. If our room would’ve been ready, I would’ve never been on the boardwalk to begin withThis is the bad gift that keeps on giving my advice. Find a different hotel spend the money and get the amenities that you pay for..
