Surfside Ocean Beach Denmark Holiday Accommodation

It was great but this is the last time we're going. We stayed at this place before, very happy with the location, the unit and the service. But ownership has changed and customer service went downhill very fast, very hard! We got a call Friday morning before our booking on Monday, to pay the balance of our stay. No problem, even though their T&C's online say the balance is due on arrival, not before. Anyway, at first they weren't happy with our choice to make a transfer instead of paying by credit card (I was in the car driving so I can take a handsfree call but I can't whip out my CC details for an over the phone transaction). They were going to send me an sms with payment details, but by the time I got this it dawned on me that I might be dealing with a scam, so I called my wife who had time to get them on the phone. She was told we wouldn't get the key until they had the payment. So we made the payment, but then our bank wouldn't process it because the bank number didn't match the account name. I called them back to verify this and had another hard conversation with them to verify the account name. Their excuse is they've only been doing this for a month, but it's just extremely bad customer service. I hope for them they improve but we won't be back. Hope our week there is better!
