Blue Creek Inn

Blue Creek Inn is a charming, family-run gem that offers a warm and personal touch often missing from larger hotels. Nestled in a peaceful setting, the inn is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. The owners are incredibly welcoming, going out of their way to make guests feel at home. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with all the essentials for a restful stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, heartfelt experience with genuine hospitality, Blue Creek Inn is a wonderful choice.

So the good first. Grounds were well kept and the rooms were clean. We had room 26. It was motel 6 quality. Bathroom door would only shut if you put your shoulder into it. The bed was harder than the floor. The only harder than the bed were the pillows. My sister booked this room and 2 nights ran us $600. The pictures on this site and others don’t tell the truth. I’ve had better hotels under $100 per night. A total rip off.

We stayed at the Blue Creek Inn because we were in town for our niece's engagement party. In order to reserve a room, you must use a credit card. We were told that we could receive a refund if when we arrived we were paying in cash. What they don't tell you is that you will not be refunded the 3.5% credit card fee. When we arrived at the inn, we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled. We never cancelled the reservation. The "queen sized beds" were very small and the air conditioning unit was very loud. The bathroom door also did not close. The room appeared clean and we were told that the hotel had been renovated. We were also never informed that we had to leave a placard on the door if we wanted our room to be cleaned and beds made. Security is also an issue. The front door is locked between the hours of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM, however the side door is never locked. The only positives to our experience were that the staff was very friendly and the room appeared clean. I would rather drive 30 minutes out of my way than stay at that inn again.

The bed was super comfortable

I stayed two nights with a family member. Front desk was very friendly and professional, room was clean and everything worked, beds were comfortable with memory foam mattresses. There was coffee and tea available during the day but we left early each morning so we missed it. I had read some not so great reviews in the past but sounded like this place was renovated about a yr or so ago and had improved. I decided to try it due to cheaper prices than other similar hotels in the area. I had a good enough experience that I would stay here again.
