Great hotel in downtown. Perfect base for exploring Silver Springs.
Parking is available either in front of the hotel or (cheaper) directly across the street in the parking garage.
Nice lobby, good cocktails.
The room was spacious, very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

While the hotel itself and location was nice, the room I got was very loud. The room faced a very busy street. They actually supply earplugs because they know this room is so noisy. It was horrible! I guess you get what you pay for when you book through a 3rd party because they give you a lousy room.

1. This is a mediocre hotel at a prime location - great restaurants, worthwhile nightlife, and a warm coffee shop nearby. 2. Although the property is relatively young (6 yrs?), it looks and feels much older. 3. The parking situation is complicated. I would recommend that you park in the city deck and correctly scan the QR code to pre-pay your parking by day. Although it’s a one block walk, your car will be shaded. 4. I would wish that the Hilton corporation would recognize the potential of this location and convert this hotel into a full-service Hilton or better. A signature hotel with thrive here. 5. In the meantime, the staff could take a lesson from the hospitality industry in Orlando and do everything in their power to welcome guests and to retain guests. I would upgrade at every opportunity and I would consider giving guests the benefit of discounts at the pantry & bar. 6. Please consider ending the Friday/ Saturday night dance party where locals are attracted to the loud music only to turn around upon entry to the balcony. It’s offputting to guests who might consider coming back for future business. 7. Make an effort to create a ground level free of dumpsters, construction debris, dead, planters, and trash. When you arrive, you enter on the ground level to travel to the second floor lobby. 8. Get locals on board. After talking to many locals, they feel the hotel is an eyesore (deteriorating) and a nuisance (dance party). To go back to my original point, this location has tremendous potential for the downtown Ocala area.

We are Hilton Diamond and were given probably the worst room -507- in the building and that was our “upgrade”. Parking is complicated and we were given no info at check in. Because it’s in downtown Ocala there are several lots and a garage, all different prices. Nothing is put on your bill-all locations are by plate/QR code and it doesn’t work well- very cumbersome. When we checked in first thing we noticed in our were ear plugs with a note that there was construction to “improve” the hotel. If there was construction we couldn’t tell it over the roar of traffic all night - again, 507 - don’t book it. Room was clean enough but bathroom mirror was dirty, soap containers were empty, towels were scratchy and though the bed was comfy the comforter smelled of chemicals. Bathroom had one of those horrible “barn doors” that wouldn’t stay closed and when you first closed it you would smash your fingers because it was hung wrong. Microwave was almost falling apart and the TV needed an adjustment because there were LG logos in the picture the entire time. We were given a 25% discount at the Terrace Restaurant but when we tried to use it for breakfast we were told it only worked at the bar at night - might have gotten a nice drink last night had the card said that. All of this is very sad because it’s a lovely location , nice hotel it just needs attention to detail: noise cancelling window shades, Hilton designated parking that was put on your bill, desk clerks that know what’s what. One good thing was a nice breakfast (no 25. % discount😢)food was fresh, tasty and our waitress was super.

Due to lack of a response to my NUMEROUS privately expressed concerns to management, I will leave a public review regarding safety concerns and poor risk management experienced at Hilton Garden Inn Ocala, both as a patron and a parent. In the three years my daughter has been a Hilton employee, she has been physically assaulted in the parking garage, followed and threatened by male customers without an escort to her vehicle or provided a safe employee parking space. Family members and/or friends come to escort her to the public parking garage due to management's failure to provide safety. The fear of walking alone afterhours as a female who is also carrying money is REAL. Hilton failed to provide safe parking or an escort despite the aforementioned incidents. Upon filing complaints, upper management chose to admonish her, not to support her despite her three years of service. These poor practices are not representative of being voted the 'No. 1 World's Best Workplace by Great Place to Work and Fortune'. It is disappointing that she resigned from a job she enjoys due to poor upper management, lack of professional leadership and no support. These are not attributes reflective of the Hilton culture, or any competent management team.
