Für unser verlängertes Wochenende haben wir im Hotel Furka in Oberwald übernachtet. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und bietet eine angemessene Anzahl von Parkplätzen an und hat zudem vor dem Hause auch eine Haltestation des Buses. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sind relativ gross mit einem schönen Badezimmer. Wir haben Halbpension gewählt und ich kann das Essen wirklich nur loben. Preislich wie üblich in der Schweiz nicht ganz günstig. Aber ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück hat wunderbar gemundet. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und es hat alles. Die Speisekarte am Abend ist etwas karg und die Weinpreise für einen Weinkanton etwas hoch.

Essen gut, jedoch ist der Service eine Katastrophe! Bereits wenn man das Restaurant betritt wird einem das Gefühl vermittelt „ach… noch ein Gast mehr…“! Nach langem Warten wird einem die Speisekarte hingelegt, Frage nach Getränke „Fehlanzeige „! Die Gäste am Nachbartisch haben uns nach der Karte gefragt, sonst hätten sie noch länger gewartet! Sowas unfreundliches haben wir noch nie erlebt!
