We stayed for 2 nights in our return leg of a 2.5 weeks road trip. Hotel is conveniently located for those taking German Alpine Road and being slightly off the beaten route it's fairly secluded and great for a longer stop over to enjoy nearby walks and hotel spa. Rooms in the main building (where the spa is) are spacious, with a separate work area if you need one, and the balcony facing the mountains and small waterfall near the hotel. Hotel has a number of lounge areas and while the spa is small it had a swimming pool and saunas (including adults only area), as well as an inside and outside relaxation areas. There is also games room which was popular with families with children. Restaurant is quite good, with toasting menu worthwhile going for a half-board package (also included cakes and tea/ coffee in the afternoon). Breakfast (particularly healthy options) is impressive, with good tea and fresh coffee. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to return, may be on another trip across Europe.

Very mixed experience - in essence everything that has to do with the hotel itself: great, everything that is based on human labor: mediocre. Maybe I was victim of the off-season… Pro - location is beautiful - hotel and room are nice - Spa and Gym are one of the best that I have seen (and I have seen a few 5 star hotels in my life) Contra - service at the reception is basic and not pro-active (you need to ask for everything and they make you feel bad if you ask) - service at the restaurant (evening) is non existing, I needed to go myself to the bar 2 times to order - food is a problem!!! A la carte for dinner was simply not good! Tasteless mushroom soup and the deer filet was a shame: No taste especially the Sauce, only very few dumpling pieces, but a lot tasteless deer. Breakfast is basic for 4 stars and not very suitable for meat- and dairy free experiences I would come back, but probabley not off-season.

Wir haben ein wunderbares Wochenende mit Freunden im März im Tatzlwurm verbracht. Der Service war wie immer wunderbar, die Familie Kiesl und ihre Mitarbeiter haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen - Wohlfühlfaktor hoch 10! Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Badesee, Sauberkeit und Komfort ließen keine Wünsche offen. Im Rahmen der Halbpension gab es ein leckeres Menü, dazu eine hervorragende Weinauswahl, das alles wurde uns von unserem charmanten Kellner Patrick serviert, selten habe ich jemanden erlebt, der so aufmerksam war. Ein großes Lob an der Stelle! Die Mitarbeiter und deren Freundlichkeit und Dienstleistungsbereitschaft sind es, die dieses Haus so besonders machen. Man merkt, dass dieses Haus Familiengeführt ist, Frau Kiesl ist stets präsent, die Aliens zum Detail ist an den wunderschönen Dekorationen zu erkennen. Der Empfang war warm, die Mitarbeiter im Service sind schnell und kompetent, hier sei auch noch mal Daniel erwähnt, der uns mit so manchem Spruch zum Lachen brachte. Danke für das tolle Wochenende - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Rezension kommt ein wenig spät. Wir waren letztes Jahr im September zu Gast in dem Hotel und sehr enttäuscht. Wir wollten den Wellness-Bereich nach dem Auschecken weiter nutzen, hätten aber 80 € zahlen müssen. Bei den Zimmerpreisen eine Frechheit. Das geht auch anders. Der Service an der Rezeption war unterirdisch. Vermutlich der Besitzer oder Hotelmanager des Hotels. Auch im Restaurant war ich mehr als enttäuscht vom Service. Ich habe nach dem Wochenende eine E-Mail an das Hotel geschrieben, warte aber bis heute auf Antwort. Die Zimmer und der Wellness-Bereich waren sehr schön.

Schöner Spa-Bereich, wohltuende Anwendungen, lecker Essen mit herzlichem Service „Gspusi“, die Gastgeberfamilie kümmert sich herzlich damit man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat. Ab 13.00 Uhr sind die Saunen an. Wir 3 Mädels danken für den schönen Dayspa …bis demnächst 😊

Wir waren wegen des Regenwetters zum Day Spa vor Ort, weil uns die moderne Homepage daher gelockt hat. Es war keine komplette Enttäuschung, aber auch nicht wirklich dem Preis angemessen. Das einzig moderne an Spa Bereich ist der ruhige Strandbereich, in dem man aber leider eher friert. Der versprochene warme Sand war nicht vorhanden. Der Poolbereich ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, aus den Duschen kommt kaum warmes Wasser, die Dampfsauna könnte auch mal erneuert werden. Die Saunen können erst ab 13 Uhr genutzt werden. Da geht schon mal der halbe Tag verloren. Dann hatten wir eine Massage, die aber eher super sanft ausgefallen ist. Eine richtige Ganzkörpermassage geht anders. Es war deutlich spürbar, dass die Dame keine Lust hatte. Die Wege sind ewig lang in diesem Hotel. Im Wellnessbereich gibt es nur aromatisiertes Wasser, keinen Tee oder Obst. Zum Lunch muss man sich anziehen und ins Restaurant wechseln, das vollkommen überteuert ist. 60€ für zwei Apfelschorle und zwei Putenschnitzel mit Pommes. Zum Kuchen muss man sich wieder anziehen und ins Restaurant wechseln. Uns wurde zwar gesagt, dass man auch im Bademantel ins Restaurant kann, aber dann sitzt man da ölig und verschwitzt zwischen den ganzen anderen Gästen. Hygienisch ist auch anders. Einzig das Personal an der Rezeption und der Bar war sehr nett und bemüht. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Meine 3-Sterne-Bewertung liegt an der fehlenden Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, die einen Aufenthalt erst als vollständig gelungen wirken lassen kann.. Meiner Meinung nach sollte die "warme Gastfreundschaft" von der Geschäftsführung vorgelebt werden, um dann von jedem einzelnen Mitarbeiter aktiv ausgeübt werden; leider fängt im "feurigen Tatzelwurm" die fehlenden Herzlichkeit bereits beim Chef Andreas an - schade. Ansonsten ist dieses Hotel ein unglaublich schöner, erholsamer Ort, der durch seine wunderbare Dekoration im urigen Berg-Stil Gemütlichkeit vermittelt und damit für Ruhe und Entspannung sorgt. Trotzdem werden wir in diesem Haus keinen weiteren Aufenthalt verbringen, da die Gastfreundschaft in anderen Hotels dieser Kategorie deutlich spürbarer gelebt wird.
