I enjoyed my stay (and continued)

An excellent hotel, among the complete infrastructure of the Oba area. The hotel has a wonderful buffet, the food is very tasty. 5 minutes walk to the sea, everything is close. The room is great for one, a little cramped for two, but perhaps there are other rooms. I really liked the hotel and the hotel staff. There is wifi everywhere, everything is convenient.

The bartenders and their staff are exhausted, but the children still do their best. Staff is short. But let's take the cook part for example, there is an excess of staff. The cook, around 40 years old, working at the snack restaurant next to the bar, is very sullen. Although his face can't spoil my fun. All the young people serving the tables in the restaurant are enthusiastic and good at their job. But their workload is excessive. I do not remain silent while taking millions from the hotel and losing the lives of the staff. I can't tell you what a bad impression it was when a person at the hotel bar hit on a foreign customer whose name I will not mention. I think he thought we didn't speak English. Afterwards, I asked for his free special and he sent me with another simple drink that he prepared in 30 seconds. Considering the cultural level, I didn't pay much attention to it. I send my love to other bartender friends. Yes, some local customers come with a really touchy attitude and prejudices, there is discrimination against Turkish customers, etc. I did not go with this impression because there are really problematic profiles in our country. Despite this, even though I went with zero prejudice, the hotel reception forced me to leave a negative comment. First of all, we were given the smallest room on the floor. Hotel manager and receptionist friends who think they are very smart should read carefully from here. Just because we did not specify a room, we were given the narrowest room I have ever seen in my life (which I think should be closed). I went downstairs in a calm and polite manner and asked. At first they told me they were full, I said I understand you, but there will be exits etc. He said it was very difficult, but let's take notes, etc. I was passed over. Then I went down again and said, "I hope you took notes, it didn't seem like that to me, but look, I'm asking you, I'm not that profile that creates tension, I asked nicely, I would be very grateful if you could help me." Again, there are places available on Wednesday, let's not make any promises, but (the hotel manager conveyed this part in this way, I will try to arrange it on Wednesday) Finally, my wife came downstairs as a bad cop and said, "I will never accept it, you cannot stay in that room", etc. He held it out for a while, the manager tampered with the screens, said there is a place tomorrow (Tuesday), let's arrange it. Now I ask you, Mr. Principal, is your attitude towards someone who speaks like a man? Is being polite a crime? If you open your mouth, the first thing you will complain about is the Turkish customer. So bro, you are doing what the bad cop wants?? We saw that our wishes could be achieved through police tactics, whether good or bad, that we did knowingly and willingly. In addition, foreign tourists arrange cheaper places on this platform, while Turkish tourists pay more (in dollars). What is your problem? I couldn't figure it out. Apart from these The hotel's gym 10/2 is unusable Some products in the hotel's food are not available until they are first grown. . There are more standard products and they are added without any problems. Cutlery is not refilled fast enough. The culprit is the lack of staff, namely the management. You give these young people a penny, but you make the most money off their backs. I saw that the senior staff was in good spirits. Finally, I would like to convey my love and respect to animator Tayfun. Without that, time won't pass in your hotel :) I give the hotel neutral due to poor management and low staff. I'm changing it to negative instead of neutral because of the management that ignores customers who think they're smart. I close this review with a score of 10/5.

Cheap and good fully equipped apartment. Nice location for a short walk to the cafe in the park by the sea. Very friendly welcome and farewell. We will book it again and again for short stays before a flight. It is definitely very good for longer stays too.

After a 2hr Taxi from airport - you wonder why book the Oba star hotel Alanya - On arriving and treated perfect at reception- at 2am - told bar open and snacks available- this small hotel is perfect - sun beds available for everyone- food spot on from breakfast- lunch - dinner - and snacks - rooms a little small but clean - has a bar open 10am 6am so could need signs keep noise down as will hear them - overall 9/10 and would return again.

I had a best holiday. The Obastar hotel is great- it is clean, the food is great, the service is so good. I love obastar hotel and I will come back here. Hotel location is fantastic. The bartenders are very polite and nice. Great experience yes!

Stuff is very nice and polite all foods is perfect I'm coming here for the fourth time ..location is perfect to beach and markets .. We are thinking of coming back in October for a month .. Hotel employees all help in any problem . I will miss them all so much

Ask for Yasin he will take care of you. Beautiful place beautiful people. Drinks and food are brilliant. You won't regret it, rooms are well looked after and everyone is very polite 10/10 for service, for a relaxing retreat i couldn't recommend more.

I had a good experience with the staff very helpful and very friendly and polite. The food was excellent different menu every night and day. The pool good size good for socialising with other guest and breakfast bar is great for late comers. Excellent spa centre hotel is close to the beach and hotel is very clean.and will be back for sure thank you to all the staff.

Really enjoyed holiday, all staff were friendly and helpful, food was good, beach is close. Hotel was clean and good decor. Fish night was nice. Would consider coming back, good value for money 🤗🤗🤗 would recommend, great to see an Aussie working in Turkey.

We had the best holiday ever in the best hotel ever. What can I say, the food is amazing, our room was amazing the staff are all amazing, especially Yasin and Lera who kept us entertained daily. Everywhere was so clean, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we were taken care of so well. I urge anyone who’s not sure, to come to this hotel. We will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. Thank you so much Ona Star, we will miss you all.
