Santa Cecilia Hotel

A cute modern hotel with a modern design. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Beautiful terrace restaurant.The location away from downtown is a plus. I would give it five stars except for the dogs barking around the hotel day and night and the roosters next door that begin crowing around 4:30 am.

Nice hotel! But not for light sleepers. I really do like this hotel! The staff was always very polite & helpful. Rooms have a nice layout. Xochimilco, the neighborhood, it a great choice! A short walk to Reforma & a decent walk to Centro. Close, but out of the potential crowds. Bakeries and cafes nearby help in the early mornings as you start your day. That said, I must share that if you are a light sleeper, have ear plugs. The doors/windows are thin. There's an opening to bathrooms walls high up to outside, so.. You will hear everything. Cleaning crews, guests arriving/departing, conversations, etc. I slept with my ear buds most of the mornings I'd sleep past 6-7am. I don't want to fault the hotel for this, just a heads up. Beyond that, good spot.
