Friendly Staff and Great Location
We had a great 8-night stay at Casa Quiote. The staff is friendly and helpful. They gave us great restaurant recommendations, arranged for someone to drive us to Monte Alban and other attractions, and scheduled transportation to the airport.
The hotel is in a great location - close to museums, sites, and restaurants.

I really hate to write this review, because the building is beautiful, the room was very nice and spacious...but unfortunately the hotel is not user friendly. My guess is the hotel is operating on a shoe string budget. My first clue was upon arrival they have a stained plywood reception counter. Once in the room there are very sparse amenities, no tables, chairs or bedside lamps. In the bathroom, the sinks are a total disaster. The faucet sprays water everywhere and the sink leaked onto the floor. It is a shame because it has a lot of potential but they need an infusion of cash and a good interior designer that can make the spaces more functional and comfortable. I wish them luck. Meanwhile, I can't recommend it.

The staff and location are amazing! They were very helpful calling taxis and giving recommendations for dining! Only slight negatives ( personal preference) I wish the beds were a little softer and pillows were better. Also wish there was a tad more privacy in the bathrooms.

Although the hotel is very centrally located, it is pleasantly quiet. The room faces a simple and large inner courtyard. It is modern and clean. Toilet and shower are separate. No pictures on the walls (which didn't bother me). There is a safe and a mini fridge. But: The Wi-Fi is catastrophic. There is no breakfast. There is also no laundry service! No place to sit except on the bed - I had to get myself a chair. No closet! No hairdryer! All in all, I cannot recommend this accommodation. I was traveling alone. For the price of €188 a night, there are much better accommodations.
