Hotel SIN Nombre

Staying in this hotel ruined our vacation! Let's start with the positive: The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the inner courtyard is charming, complimentary breakfast is delicious and generous, location is central. Now to the many issues: *We booked a total of 3 rooms for our family of five and had to move 4 times. So we saw almost all the rooms in the hotel.  - The rooms are clean as long as it does not rain...once it rains the sewage system floods and ground level rooms are infested with the largest cockroaches I have ever seen. We had to flee our ground level room and move to the upper level at midnight because of this issue. The cause of infestation is not an assumption but the explanation that was given by the hotel.  - Hotel is a couple of blocks away from the main market which means the street outside the hotel is noisy, dirty and overall looks run-down. - Multiple rooms do not have windows or exposure to daylight! So you might end up with a room that feels like a cave. - Street facing rooms are VERY VERY noisy. We had to move a room because of that.  - Bathroom doors in all the rooms are louvered shutter doors, which mean there is no noise or scent insulation.  Not many couples can survive this lack of privacy... - Showering in all the rooms included a "delightful" combination of low water pressure with unexpected bursts of scalding water followed by cold water.   - A couple of the rooms had issues with the AC. This is because the units were too small for effective cooling of the spaces. Not my words but the explanation that was given by the hotel. We had to move a room because of the heat and humidity.  - All the towels look like rags. They are frayed and grayish. Towel supply is inconsistent: sometimes we received hand towels and sometimes not. - Lighting in all rooms is very dim, so I had to use muscle memory to apply my makeup on. - Some rooms did not have outlets next to the bed. - Some rooms did not have anywhere to sit on except for the bed

Very quiet and clean. The a/c worked really well. The room was cold and clean. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar options. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish we would have brought our swimsuits and booked more massage sessions. Would have loved to done yoga on the terrace.

Loved our stay at Sin Nombre!! We came for a friend’s wedding and it was absolutely stunning. The staff was so friendly and accommodating - they really went above and beyond with everything! The food was also amazing and the pool deck was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back!

Our hotel room had no window, was painted all black and had very dim lighting. When we asked for a room with a window to the outside they could not accommodate us. Not a great place to stay if you need normal light or if you’re even mildly claustrophobic.
