It took half an hour to drive to Yosemite, and there were some small trails in between, but you should avoid driving at night, as the street lights are dim and the locals drive very fast, and the headlights are very dazzling.

When you come to Yosemite, it is a good idea to choose to stay in Oakhurst. It is not far from the entrance of the scenic area. The facilities in the town are relatively complete, and there are several pretty good chain brands.

You can't expect too much from a hotel in a scenic area. This Holiday Inn is already very good, maintaining the hygiene and service standards of a star hotel. The room is spacious, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is a standard American breakfast. We stayed for three days, and the first two days were full marks. On the last night, many young people came and it was very noisy, and the sound insulation felt not very good.

Hotels in the United States are indeed expensive. A hotel that costs 1,600 a night is far worse than a full season hotel. If you accept this setting, I think this hotel is okay. It’s very close to Yosemite, just over twenty minutes’ drive. Parking is also free, and there is free breakfast. But I really can't bear to take a shower in the hotel, it feels too shabby.
