My daughter and I loved our stay at the Inelle after a long day exploring Yosemite. The hotel looks recently renovated, chic and comfortable. We were able to eat a delicious breakfast out on the patio in the perfect surroundings and Dean took great care of us. The rest of the staff was very friendly and were eager to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We definitely will return when back in the area.

Pros: The rooms look nice and have some character. Staff was pleasant. Cons: The $18/night parking fee is shady. It is not disclosed during booking unless you click to reveal it. This is not a city hotel where 50% of guests take a taxi and the hotel has to maintain an expensive parking garage. There are other small things that make the property less than its advertised premium level. The rooms still have old window unit ACs hidden by a wood grate. While the wood grate looks nice, it blocks air flow. My room did not have the AC on when I arrived and it was 88 degrees inside and took over an hour to get down to the mid 70s. Rooms do not have coffee makers. Rooms also do not have desks of any sort, making working or eating challenging.

Definitely not a premium hotel. No elevator to the second floor, no in room coffee station, $6 for a bottle of water in your room, no mini fridge, no free breakfast. The first room we were given had no power to it. We went back to the front desk and the clerk said that we didn’t know how to operate the switches. 🙄 The second room was 89° inside so we turned on the AC. After 3 hours we got it down to a chilly 83°. Asked for a fan as it was uncomfortably hot and they don’t have any. I am disabled and had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. Completely unacceptable. Do not recommend staying here until they figure some things out.

To be avoided at ALL costs. We called in advance to ask if it was possible to check in late "yes no problem, just call us when you get here". Impossible to reach them at arrival, they left us out in the cold to die pretty much. This hotel still charged us for a room they never let us into!!!! And refused to rembourse us. Pay a little bit more and do not ruin your holidays, it is old, dusty, scary and for sure the worst possible option around. If you want a mental picture, think of a place after a crime scene, you have been warned.
