felt like one of those older homey country resorts, in the middle of lamington national park. great views and plenty of activities activities available. parking is a bit far if your room doesn’t have a room-side parking spot.

We had a great experience in O'Reilly's! We spent a wonderful day exploring various trails and tried to spot some wildlife. At the end of the day we finally encountered an Albert's lyrebird. And the starry sky was truly amazing at night! We only wish we could have spent more days there. Would definitely come again! Drawbacks: it went really cold at night and in early morning; the dinning was crowded and need to wait for quite long.

We just had a wonderful couple of nights at O'Reillys - what a truly special place it is. Such an interesting history and the perfect getaway to connect with nature. We stayed in a Mountain View room, which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the original lodge building was plentiful, and the bar food was great - perfect for early dinners accompanied by a beautiful sunset. Of course the best guests are the non-paying ones - the birds! This is a world-class spot for birdwatching. We did the early morning bird walk with Jackie, who was very knowledgeable and pointed out gorgeous birds as we had the opportunity to feed them - including the stunning regent bowerbird, O'Reilly's mascot! Another excellent activity was the 4WD tour, led by Sam, who was passionate about the rainforest and so informative. We were reluctant to leave today, but are determined to come back. Thank you to the manager and all staff for making it such a great stay :)

Cold and wet outside, yet warm and cosy inside! A delightful winter getaway! We embarked on the Border track walk (21.4km) between Binna Burra and O’Reilly’s and had booked the transport to Binna Burra which was a great way to do this track in one direction. Having pizza and a glass of wine by the fire in the library on our return was ideal. Buffet breakfast by the window were wild birds (frequent flyers) came in for a feed was lovely. Always enjoy the walk on the Tree Tops Walk too.
