Comfort Inn & Suites St Louis-O'Fallon

Our room. Filthy carpet, bathroom floor grout discusting, bathroom door banged up, gashes out of walls, smelled moldy, everything very old in this hotel! Breakfast was horrible. Food was barely warm. Most of us did not eat at all. We had a group of 12 staying at this hotel & everyone felt the same.

We stayed here in mid-June. The do NOT care! the room they gave us smelled so bad musty and mold, but we hoped it was because they had the AC off. After 14 hours of driving, we wanted to try running AC because we were too tired to move. At 1:00AM the fire alarm in our room only went off strobe lights and all. They called our room and tried to figure it out over the phone. No issue . After 10 minutes it went off again then 3 more times after that I called and asked to be moved. We moved all our stuff now 2AM. The new room had people above us being super loud. In the end we got about 2 hours sleep. I of course asked for some money back. They said no and gave me an email and some man to call. I've left 2 messages, 2 emails now... been over 20 days. Nothing! They don't care!

I booked a stay on 8/26 for two nights. Once arriving we were assigned to room 226. We got to the room and it was not cleaned. The bed was not made and dirty towels were on the floor. We went downstairs to inform the front desk when she called the manager and then put us in room 220. We stayed the first night with no issues. The next day we left the hotel returning around 2p. Our hotel keys did not work when we tried to use them upon returning. Again I went to front desk and the man explained that the staff that changed our room keys from 226 to 220 only did it for one night instead of two. That was quickly resolved. The next morning (around 1am) we were just about to go to bed when my significant other screamed and then pointed out a bed bug that had been crawling on her. I work in in-home health care and have seen bed bugs many times unfortunately and immediately recognized it to be an adult bed bug. We quickly started to pack our belongings. While she was packing I went downstairs to inform the front desk staff. When I came downstairs the front desk staff was asleep in the back. I could hear snoring and saw shoeless feet sticking out from behind the door frame to the back room. I yelled "hello" several times and he did not wake. After about 2-3 minutes of this, I went back upstairs to help my significant other pack. We came back downstairs with our belongings and I again yelled "hello". The man woke up and I explained to him what had happened. He checked us out after being very confused and lethargic. I showed him the pictures of the bed bugs. He said the manager would call me in the morning. I have not heard from the manager and have called several times. I also have called corporate and filed a formal complaint. Mid day Monday I discovered that my credit card had been charged for an additional two nights. I called corporate and was hung up on twice. This is still not resolved.

Very friendly staff. Easy on/off highway. Trouble free check in and check out.Close to great Restaraunt (Stefanías). Plenty of towels. Comfortable room. WiFi. I a surprisingly good breakfast and breakfast area was well maintained and clean. Good coffee.

Needs renovating badly. Stinky. Room deadbolt would not lock. Room was cleaned twice with do not disturb sign hanging on the door. Very poor service. No real apologies or offers to fix issues. Lobby dirty. Would not recommend or stay again.

After paying inflated price of $447 for 2 days, the room smelled, stains on the carpet, the shower had pealing paint, luke warm shower water and the pillows are like bags with rocks in them. I feel like I was taken advantage of for traveling for a sport. This place isn’t worth $50 a night.

Booked this as a walk in last minute on a road trip. Front desk was friendly and hotel was in a safe area. Walked into the room and the smell of mold slapped you in the face and instantly flared up my allergies - which affected the remainder of our vacation and we were only on day one :( We shut the air conditioner off, spent as much time outside as possible and left early in the morning. Unfortunately not worth the money we spent - and I'm not one to leave a bad review as I like to give most places the benefit of the doubt. We should have asked for a different room, but we were tired from a long day on the road (and looking now at other reviews - doesn't sound like it would have done much good). If it hadn't been for the mold, this would have been a decent stay. On a positive note - the gentleman working the breakfast area was super friendly and enjoyed conversations with him!

Spent around $275 for jacuzzi suite and it was filthy. There was a leak when filling up so I had to take towels and place them around the base. I also noticed mold/rust in the hot tub. I tried to rinse it out but had a hard time so I went up front to show them pictures and they seemed to not care at all and asked me if I tried cleaning it out myself! Lol. When laying down, I looked over by the light by the wall and saw a tiny cockroach. This was the most money I’ve ever spent on a comfort inn and now I’m wondering if I should just cancel my choice rewards membership and go elsewhere! What a joke for such an expensive room and terrible customer service. Wish I could get my money back!

I paid double or triple compared to other average hotels so we could rent the jacuzzi room. Instead, we had a miserable night breathing nasty mold. Despite trying to scrub and refill/rinse the jacuzzi six times, we couldn’t clean the mold out of it enough to safely use it. Can’t believe we spent almost $300 to try to clean their jacuzzi out to no avail. It was disgusting and a health hazard. They could have at least refused to rent the room to us at a premium. What a joke.
