The experience was seamless. The staff were extremely professional and very friendly too. The food was very delicious. It’s also a child friendly hotel, I was able to get all the amenities for my baby including a crib. All round 5 star experience

I like the pool and the gym was amazing and sauna was perfect and I love the steam room and the beds are so soft the food is to die for. The staff are so nice and it’s super big. My room was really nice and I enjoyed the fact that they were passionate in their Christmas decorations showing true dedication and love for the people and place.

Outstanding Experience at Epic Hotel – Highly Recommend! We recently stayed at Epic Hotel as a group of 68 USAID staff for a work retreat, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the very beginning, the level of organization and professionalism was remarkable. The team, led by Charles, went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met with flexibility and a genuine willingness to accommodate our requests. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, the service was prompt, and the food was absolutely delightful. A huge thank you to Bahati and the entire food and beverage team for their outstanding service and attention to detail. The General Manager’s constant check-ins and dedication to ensuring our comfort truly stood out, adding a personal touch to our experience. The entertainment activities, including games and karaoke, were incredibly fun and added to the overall enjoyment of our retreat. This was our second time at Epic Hotel, having also stayed last year, and somehow, they managed to exceed our already high expectations. Special kudos to Charles – you deserve a trophy for making our work so much easier and our stay so memorable. Mantis Epic is the sister property of Mantis Akagera Game Lodge inside the national park. it is located in the Nyagatare town, about 1h away from the north exit of Akagera (40 min on dirt road + 20 min on paved road). drive while there is still daylight since majority of the journey will have no street lights the decor is attractive. hotel is catered for both leisure and corporate guests. a variety of services and facilities are available eg onsite restaurant, spa, gym, tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool. room is comfortable. the only strange thing is shower head appeared to be installed on the wrong side of shower stall (away from the screen), so bathroom is at risk of being wet all in all, great stay, with friendly staff, who also gave us roasted peanuts before we left.

Beautiful hotel, guest are very nice and welcoming. They are constantly checking to make sure you are doing ok. You’ll be greeted with a warm towel and a refreshing drink. There are a lot of things you can do such as play basketball, get a massage and go to the gym.
