The most amazing stay. Our children said they wanted to live there forever. My son also gave the food 4 trillion stars. Selvarage even let my children help fix the block pathing with him. No request was too big. Special place.

If you book with Trio you get the worst room in the hotel. That's how we were greeted and that's how it turned out. Super loud and very, very small. A room right next to the reception. The service was very inattentive every day. We had to order or remember things several times. The food was not good and far too expensive. The whole hotel is not worth the price. Not recommended!

We didnt realise how much we needed to stay at this hotel. We had been in Sri Lanka around a week and had had a long drive to Nuwara Eliya, the idea was to explore the region a little more but 2 nights werent enough and the weather wasnt in our favour during our visit. The plus side of this is we got to rest a little and spent a lot more time in the hotel being looked after by Mr Fauzi and his amazing team. The views were spectacular and the food ( cooked by an amazingly friendly nothing is too much trouble Chef) was exceptional. We read books, ate well , enjoyed the views and the Spa at the hotel. While we didn't get to dip in the heated pool or play mini golf , tennis or badminton we felt their was plenty to do , i think we would of happily stayed a week just relaxing in the hills looked after by the staff at the Langdale BUT sadly not this time. We did manage a hike from the property which is a short 45 minute trail through the tea plantations ( other longer trails we were told did exist) The hotel was spotlessly clean , the rooms spacious , sadly we didnt get to spend much time in the bar but we slept and ate well and enjoyed the views. Staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming

A truly British gem in the heart of Sri Lanka! We had an absolutely wonderful stay, the service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were beautifully decorated, combining classic elegance with modern comfort. The cuisine was simply divine, offering a delicious variety of dishes that delighted us every day. The heated pool was a perfect touch, especially on cooler days, and there were plenty of activities available regardless of the weather. Whether you're looking to relax or explore, this hotel has it all. Highly recommended for anyone seeking charm, comfort, and top-tier hospitality!

Heel aangenaam boutique hotel, het voelt als thuiskomen, prachtig landhuis. Heel mooie ruime kamers. De kok is heel erg bekwaam en komt persoonlijk aan tafel even informeren of alles naar wens is. Uitermate vriendelijk en discreet personeel. Echt top!

The staff were a strong team who provided excellent service. The food was outstanding- in particular the pastry, bread and mains. The facilities were lovely- we played a game of mini golf and tennis on arrival followed by a trip to the spa! The rooms were very comfortable- a massive double bed and spotlessly clean. The location and views were breathtaking- overlooking surrounding tea plantations. My family and I are extremely grateful to the staff for providing an unforgettable experience. We hope to visit again!

Set in a stunning tea plantation with idillic views of the hill country, with it's colonial past. This unique hotel is charming and also very comfortable. The staff are so helpful and kind. The food was the best we had in the whole of Sri Lanka, which is saying something. The pastry chef was outstanding and every dish made by the head chef was just perfect. Being able to play crazy golf and tennis with my family whilst relaxing here made for the perfect end to our holiday. If I could give this 12 out of 10, I would!
