Our stay at Cheriz The Property was truly memorable. The property boasts stunning views and the interior design, along with the attention to detail, is simply beautiful. Although the weather conditions prevented us from fully enjoying the view from our room, the overall experience was still exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, ensuring our stay was comfortable and pleasant. They were attentive to our needs, especially during the cold weather. They made sure the electric blankets were on and that our room was warm and cozy. The entire hotel, including the rooms, had a delightful fragrance that added to the pleasant atmosphere. A special mention goes to our chef, Sandun, and our waiter, Sidharan, who were exceptional in their service. Their dedication and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Cheriz The Property, for a wonderful experience. We look forward to visiting again!

Amazing hospitality from the staff. The food was great and the rooms were neat. The view from the rooms was breathtaking. The welcome was so warming and we felt like we are home. There were few members in the staff and all of them were equally friendly and professional.

Duration: 14 May to 17 May 2024 I went to CheRiz with a couple of my friends. Mother of one of my friends too joined us. We stayed there for 3 nights. I went up country after a very longtime though I grew up in this area as a result of my Dad being a tea planter. I felt it was a “home away from home” as soon as I entered the CheRiz. It was one of the best boutique hotels I’ve been to in recent years. Absolutely Loved it!!! Everyone was welcoming and friendly at any given time. Every staff member made us feel so homely. Such a serene and peaceful environment… ❤️ A beautiful boutique hotel with a stunning view of the tea plantations. We were in the Bakers room. Outstandingly presented, beautifully decorated and a very clean room and bathroom. Isla Grant music was just the thing that made it perfect! Chef Sadun catered to all our needs. Such wonderful mouth-watering food was provided to us at each meal. I felt Sadun’s service was exceptional and I think he is really good at multi-tasking 👍Pavithra was very attentive and efficient. Attended to all our needs. They were all so helpful and friendly. As I mentioned above, felt like home away from home – absolute delight!! For me , the highlight was the spa. Such a peaceful and relaxing location where we were gazing out to the tea plantations from the hot spa. That was just the icing on the cake... 💐 Love CheRiz! 💐

Hotel was exceptional as a boutique hotel. It was clean, comfatable, roomy with excellent service. Ambiance of the hotel has an esthetic element. Food was excellent, with staff going out of the way to provide us with rear Sri Lanka cuisine and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room was comfortable with a homely environment. Located close to town and with a nice view from the hotel.

The Services provided were not at par for the price paid. 1) I was refused to enter the room until full payment at the checkin despite of my wife and infant waiting tired. 2) No house phone was given until multiple reminders so had to climb up and down several times. 3) Reception number no reply always. 4) No receptionist ever, Chef from the kitchen and cheked us in with all formalities and payment. 5) 1 Wi fi is not working 1 has extremely poor range. 6) I had asked staff mobile number of any help if needed he refused to privide. 7) 1 Heater wasn't working. 8) Balcony lock comes off adnwas broken. 9) No lift at the property. 10) Hotel shuts the main gate and swiches off all the reception light around 9 PM without informing the guests. 11) Incase I need anything reception is shut, number goes unanswered, BOOM! Enjoy your stay in complete privacy and without a heater.. 12) Zero Sound proofing. You can hear every bit of the next door, even if anyone in climbing up. 13) Extremely uncomfortable and small bathrooms. 14) Very far from the main town. 15) If its raining its risky to drive uphill on the private road to the property specially at night, no assistance provided from hotel. 16) Didn't try the breakfast so cant comment. But Breakfast area had 6 Tables for two heads each if i am not mistaken. And list goes on.. Cheers.. 1) Very Nice and Plush interiors of the room. 2) Extremely Small boutique Hotel.

A beautiful boutique hotel, small and personal with a stunning view. We stayed 2 nights it was perfect while in nuwara eliya. The staff are so helpful and friendly always there to look after you. The restaurant is excellent we had a delicious dinner and breakfast. We rate this as excellent.

Very nice boutique hotel with very friendly staff and very nice one of a kind waterfall themed rooms. My hats off to Sandun (the Chef), Sudarshana (steward) and Ranjani the housekeeping lady who ran the hotel during the absence of the manager. Some of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed during our travels around the globe. The biggest disappointment was, not having TV or Internet for the 3 days we were there. This is a big issue and we would have left for another location, but we were told that the issue would be taken care of that did not happen until the last night before our check out. The staff who was at the location did their very best to fix the issue with no luck. I would strongly recommend that the owners look into these basic needs like internet and TV to keep the guests happy and returning to this location for future stays. Another issue was not being able to get ice cubes and I would recommend that the hotel keep a few bags of ice on location for guest needs. As career hoteliers from Colombo and USA, we love supporting the boutique hotels in Sri Lanka and we hope that our suggestions are taken seriously for the comfort of future guests.
