It is a bit far from the city center. It is a very British-style hotel. The small garden is beautifully trimmed, the room is clean, and there is a balcony. It faces the tea garden. It is quiet at night and the air is fresh in the morning. I like this hotel. The hotel provides a buffet dinner with many varieties. Breakfast is also a buffet, with not many varieties. Very good British service.

An amazing location in the middle of the tea planation. The hotel is an historically building once owned by the brother of the first prime minister of Sri Lanka. We stayed in the Princess Room. Two extra king size beds along with all amenities. Also heater as evenings can be cool. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were kind and considerate. Food lovely and the majority locally sourced. Would recommend.

Cottage inglese immerso nelle piantagioni di the della zona. Nel complesso la struttura è caratteristica, ben curato il giardino/ la zona della villa con reception è arredata con mobili in legno - tipici del’epoca/ I cottage sono belli all’esterno; ma all’interno avrebbero bisogno di un restauro/ sarà stata la serata fredda (migliorata con l’accensione del termosifone elettrico) ma la struttura non mi ha entusiasmato. Buffet di qualità inferiori rispetto a quanto visto ed assaporato nei giorni precedenti.

Accueil le plus mauvais que nous ayons eu au Sri Lanka. Les chambres cottage sont nuls, les draps humides, on entends tout ce qui se passe dans les autres chambres et dehors. Je ne recommande pas. Pourtant, le cadre est très joli, mais cela ne fait pas tout. Le Buffet est médiocre, même les plats à la carte.

Beautiful Heritage property - Well maintained - Well groomed gardens Location is a bit away from the city - could be a bit of a concern if you do want to roam the city till late- you need to have a vehicle to go to city. Very helpful and courteous Staff - from front office, check-in staff, all the way to restaurant staff - absolutely 5 star ratings for them. The cottages are good, however on the smaller side, I would recommend the rooms in the building. Breakfast is nice however limited in choices. Bar is on a smaller size but cozy for a cold place however could be stocked better - a few drinks mentioned in the beverages menu were missing. But the view and peace and solace at this property is unmistakably first class Already recommended the property to few friends.

THE place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. We're local so we have stayed at 15+ different places over the years, but Kings cottage is the package. It feels like you're living in the garden of Eden. Staff is friendly and is close to the town. The view is immaculate and there's a clubhouse and bar to kick back at. highly recommend!

British styled cottage. Beautiful is an understatement. Awesome weather, scenic. Tallest place in Sri Lanka. Lake is nearby, Ashok Vatika, Sita Amman temple, botonical garden and city shopping is worth the visit to Srilanka. Do carry a light sweater. Try adding this city when you plan to visit Sri Lanka
