I had an awful experience at Hotel Blue Blue Meadows, and I strongly advise other travelers to avoid booking here. The hotel is nothing like what is advertised—dirty rooms, poor service, and an overall unpleasant stay. The staff were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to guest concerns. The cleanliness of the rooms was shocking, with stains on the bedding and a musty odor. Basic amenities were either broken or missing. On top of that, the noise levels made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. For the price, you can find much better accommodation elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!

This elegant hotel had the best bed and shower in Sri Lanka. The beautiful solid wood furniture and flooring gave it a luxurious vibe and the views were stellar. The owner and staff were very attentive to my needs, including a delightful private cooking lesson. The prawn curry was the most delicious I tasted during my month in the country.
