The hotel is set in a relaxing and quaint private estate designed to look like a scenic English countryside (which it successfully replicates). Staff are friendly and helpful. The western food at the restaurant is good, which is important as there are no other dining options nearby if you do not have a car/tuk tuk. Rooms are clean and comfortable. This English inspired village is so cozy and really authentic! I love the English culture and this felt just like it. The rooms are clean and very nice, good gym, friendly and helpful staff with lots of things to do close by. We enjoy tea factory and teplantage in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pedro Barn in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering stunning views of the lush greenery that Nuwara Eliya is famous for. The cool, refreshing mountain air and peaceful surroundings made our stay feel like a true escape. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Special thanks to Sampath, the General Manager, whose professionalism was evident in every detail. Nishantha, the manager, was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The rest of the team, including Krisarth, Madushanka, Isuru, Dishanka, Arun, Dharmalinga, Nirmala, Paruwadhan, Niroshan, Kamal, Sham, and Dinuka, were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Their dedication to providing top-notch service was truly impressive. The food at Pedro Barn was a highlight. Every meal was delicious, showcasing the best of local flavors and ingredients. From breakfast to dinner, we enjoyed every dish, and it was clear that the culinary team put a lot of thought into the menu. If you’re planning a trip to Nuwara Eliya, I highly recommend staying at Pedro Barn. With its beautiful location, wonderful food, and an exceptional team that truly cares about their guests, it’s a place where you’ll feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience! The staff and Mr. Nishantha were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. We were lucky to have a room with a beautiful view, which made our mornings even more pleasant. But the highlight was definitely the food—absolutely amazing! Every meal was delicious, with a variety of options that kept us excited for each meal. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great service and fantastic dining!
