My Blue Hotel Zanzibar

The My Blue Hotel is very nice and clean. The pool is the absolute highlight. You can enjoy the sunset from the pool. There were always plenty of free loungers on the beach, so that you had a choice of seats at any time. The staff distributed coconuts on the beach daily. The staff is very friendly, the food was delicious and fresh, the evening entertainment was varied, a very clean hotel. We would recommend it to anyone. The location and the beach are great. Massages are offered at the hotel at a good price. We enjoyed the holiday to the fullest. However, the internet was mostly bad. Hardly any reception in the room. This has room for improvement.

Boutique hotel bellissimo. Le camere sono spaziose, moderne, pulite e ogni sera passa una persona dello staff a sistemare la zanzariera e a spruzzare il ddt. Spiaggia bellissima con anche un bar per ottimi aperitivi. Il ristorante ha una vista mozzafiato e una vasta scelta di pietanze. Personale gentile e disponibile. Il Wi-Fi funziona molto bene. Consigliatissimo!

Un soggiorno incredibile immerso nel verde che culmina con una spiaggia bianca paradisiaca e acqua cristallina. La struttura è dotata di ogni comfort! Le stanze spaziose con terrazzo e bagno sono impeccabili e pulitissime. Lo staff davvero gentile e la cucina del ristorante o buffet sono eccezionali! Wonderful sea view, without a doubt in my opinion among the best on the island. Very nice village, well cared for in the green spaces. Starting from the reception (where there is not even a fan) everything is not well cared for and rather unkempt. From the ruined and dirty beach chairs, to the dirty restaurant chairs (visibly not washed for days), to the broken sofas in the briefing room (and reception), with the foam coming out. The buffet is not well cared for, often the food offered at lunch is the same as that offered in the evening, in the exact same way. Not to mention the Alpitour "treatment": upon arrival (after a flight delay of over 3 hours) we were welcomed at reception without being able to have the room until . Non-existent entertainment. It is a shame for the lack of availability and professionalism shown by the staff, which I would not have expected from Alpitour. I close by saying that during the return trip from the village to the airport (we were not accompanied by any assistant) our bus broke down and we were stopped for over an hour and a half, while our suitcases (loaded on another van) went ahead. When we arrived at the airport we found them outside the airport in the departure area, completely unattended. For the price paid I would say that the service was definitely not up to par. For the rest I repeat, Zanzibar is wonderful and so are its people!!!!

Just returned from 9 unforgettable days in Zanzibar, a land of a thousand emotions. We stayed at the MY BLUE HOTEL and I must say that despite the negative reviews (many false) we changed our minds a lot. Room in an excellent location and modern construction, our shower was huge and without drainage problems. In the evening a member of staff always came by to spray DDT and fix the mosquito net around the bed (always when we were not in the room). Staff always smiling and always available. Hotel with lots of greenery and super well-kept, beautiful swimming pools especially the infinity one, lots of sunbeds on the beach, in the pool in the central building a little less but the distance between the pool and the beach was so small that you could leave your towel on the beach, take a dip in the pool and come back. The only flaw was the sunbeds dirty from the passage of crows (lots) but unfortunately there were so many that you had trouble always cleaning the sunbeds. Restaurant on the sea (only negative note being very hot a few more fans would not hurt) very suggestive, village food varied and with every type of dish. I remind everyone that we are in Africa in a tourist village you cannot expect to eat lobster all night as some people expected. We were very satisfied with the staff, the food and all the other things. If I were to return I would definitely return immediately to My blue also for the wonderful sea and the sunsets that only this place can give you. Thank you my blue, thank you zanzibar
