Dining and Cultural Experiences: Dining is a highlight, with fresh, locally sourced, and organic food accommodating various dietary needs. Traditional Fijian cultural experiences, such as kava ceremonies, add to the charm.

My family and I had the good fortune of staying at Nukubati as a private charter with a few other families (kids ranging from ages 5-8). Our experience was MAGICAL. While there are many resorts to choose from in Fiji, this is what makes Nukubati stand apart: The service was exceptional. I worked for 8 years at the world’s largest hotel company and the service we experienced rivaled that of our any luxury brand. The staff were warm, attentive, proactive, and beyond helpful across all departments. The food was incredible. It’s clear that the owners highly value their guests' culinary experience, as evidenced in what we ate and drank over the course of one week. Where possible, the ingredients were organic and sustainably sourced. Everything was flavorful and delicious. If you love seafood, you’re in for a particular treat. The rooms and common areas are comfortable and authentically appointed. I thoroughly enjoyed trading the new and clean (yet cold) lines of a modern hotel for the charm of Nukubati. The water and reef are wonderful. There are so many things to enjoy, including fishing, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, sand bar exploring, and more. Most importantly, my kids had the BEST time. The Nukubati team did a fantastic job catering to our needs as parents by helping to arrange babysitters and activities for our kids, so we could leave the island guilt free snorkel/dive or disappear in a good book for a few hours at a time. This included games, arts and crafts, swimming, and “hunting” for sea creatures across the waters and island. They also catered to our children’s dietary needs and preferences, which made mealtimes hassle-free (especially for my older picky eater and younger gluten-free kiddo). It was the first trip in my memory where I could actually enjoy the trip and left feeling relaxed and rested (a rarity as a parent!) I cannot recommend Nukubati more highly, and cannot wait to visit again!

We had an amazing time relaxing on Nukubati. Great food, friendly staff not to mention some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced!

Nukubati is paradise! Absolutely everything is perfect, the location, the staff, the food, the focus on sustainability - everything has been carefully considered and exceeds all expectations. Nukubati feels like your own private slice of paradise. It feels like you have the whole beach to yourself and when you look out across the ocean there are no other buildings, lights or noise around, it feels incredibly private, secluded and special to be there. When we went snorkeling on the Great Sea Reef we were the only ones out there and had the whole reef to ourselves (what a once-in-lifetime unforgettable experience!) We had a beach front bure where we could see the ocean from the bed, and the stars at night that are absolutely magical. The food is mostly organic farm to table or fresh seafood caught from the sea, and they offer fresh juices and wellness shots like turmeric and local grown ginger if you’re looking to detox, but also have fantastic cocktails and an extensive wine menu. They cater to all dietary requirements, they baked me fresh home made gluten free bread every day, and had a selection of gluten free desserts that were absolutely delicious. They provide yoga mats so you can practice yoga on your own private deck overlooking the ocean or own slice of the beach, and they have an extensive library of books so you can truly unplug from technology and relax. My massage with the beautiful Eta was divine, and the massage oil was coconut oil made from the island’s coconuts! The strong focus on sustainability is exceptional, the resort was the first solar powered resort in the South Pacific, and uses fresh rainwater - which has been treated and tested and found to be purer than bottled branded Fiji water! The staff make you feel like family, and the fact that there have been 3 generations of staff from the same family working there is a testament to how amazing the managers Lara and Leone are. I cannot recommend Nukubati enough!

Our week on Nukubati was perfect from start to finish. It was as close to Paradise as possible. The resort is five star, the service and food exceptional, the activities wonderful- including world class snorkeling, kayaking, massage, swimming and a sand bar picnic - the warm hospitality welcoming and offering personal attention every step of the way. We are grateful for the amazing family sharing this very special place with us!

Nukubati is a lovely, lovely surprise-mainly due to the individuals who are there to take care of you! On top of that, relaxing true Fijian bures that bring in the ocean breezes with a porch to just sit and watch the waves. We were there in Feb. a bit of cyclone weather, which affected our dive days. I say this because we still found plenty to do, relax, walk, take a medicine walk with John and Joseph, eat incredible meals, we did not miss one! Lara and Leone are your hosts, and we happened to meet Peter, the original owner, who was more than happy to share some early stories. Our diving on the Great Sea Reef, with John, Joseph, Leone and Cliff the captain was amazing! Just beautiful warm 85 degree water! We are constant divers, and cannot wait to return to fully continue to explore this amazing reef. We felt safe with our divemasters-and very well taken care of by all. Our housekeeping staff-Ana, and our masseuse-Eta, were terrific, as were the dining staff-Emily and Sarah. We happened to be the only ones there for the week, due to the weather, but we loved it and plan on returning. An off the grid spot, get your relax on and just enjoy! Thank you all!

We had the most amazing day with Lara and Leon at Nukubati Island. My wife and I were travelling with our good friends from the US and I was looking for a special experience for them and decided to snorkelling the Great Sea Reef. Lara, Leon and their team (Cliff, John, James, Sarah) made us feel incredibly welcome. We were picked up and transported to the island by boat, given breakfast and then taken out to snorkel the reef. All gear was available to us and we snorkelled in three different places which was amazing. Coral, fish, sharks, caves - just stunning! After the snorkelling we were provided with a Bure to shower in and then a beautiful 3 course lunch followed with a tour of the island. If you want an experience to remember in Fiji then I highly recommend talking with Lara and heading out to the reef to snorkel or dive. Our friends were completely blown away by the experience. We will definitely be back again and would love to stay on the island next time! Vinaka vakalevu, Mark, Ali, Matt and Maryanne

Nukubati is a quintessential ‘secluded island resort.’ If you had to list the prerequisites for a secluded island paradise: white sand beach, clear blue water, an abundance of fish, proximity to the beach, lush vegetation, idyllic beachfront bungalows, and smiling, happy staff, aamzing food, your list would be complete.

I went to Nukubati as part of a whole island booking for a milestone birthday celebration. There were three generations involved and we all had a ball. The staff looked after the youngsters when needed and the rest of us dived, fished, snorkled and generally enjoyed island life. The food was great and they were very happy to cook special meals at odd times for the little ones. A champagne celebration on a private sandbank at sunset was a highlight.
