Ein wahres Juwel in Costa Rica ist dieses kleine privatgeführte Hotel. Die beiden Inhaber Carlos und Werner zählen für mich zu den besten Gastgebern auf meinen Weltreisen! 1. Lage: ein wenig ausserhalb des kleinen Zentrums von Arenal (10 Gehminuten) in ruhiger Lage mit herrlichen Panoramablick. 2. Das Haus und die Zimmer: gemütliches, modernes Haus mit einem Pool und Panoramaterrassen. Mein Zimmer war gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet mit einem großen Balkon; das Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC war modern, sehr sauber und komplett ausgestattet. 3. Frühstück: Carlos und Werner bereiteten jeden Tag ein individuelles Frühstück zu, das selbst einem Luxushotel in nichts nachstand. 4. Die Gastgeber: Carlos ( Tico) und Werner (Schweizer) sprechen perfekt Englisch u. Werner natürlich auch Deutsch. Die beiden sind aufgeschlossen, warm- und großherzig, sodaß man(n) sich von der ersten Minute an wie zuhause fühlt. Ausserdem nehmen die Beiden gerne alle Mühsale des Individualreisenden (Buchung von Transfers, Ausflügen, Wäsche) ab. Nichts ist zu schwierig und zu aufwändig! Sie holen dich beim Bus in La Fortuna ab, empfehlen Restaurants, Thermalresorts und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Schlussendlich: ich konnte mich nur schwer von der Pension und den beiden trennen! So eine Gastfreundschaft habe ich sehr selten auf meine Weltreisen erlebt! Dank, muchas graçias y Pura Vida!

Warner and carlos are fantastic!! They greet you as soon as you arrive. They offer great information for any sight seeing you may be interested in doing and they will email or phone companys to assist with reservations for tours. The breakfast that is included with your stay is delicious and you get to watch all kinds of birds for your entertainment. Our room was absolutely beautiful with a rainfall shower, soaker tub, and the views from the balcony are breathtaking! You won't find a better place to stay in the area

Carlos and Warner are not only amazing hosts but are truly genuine caring people. They gave us great recommendations as to activities, dining, best routes to travel and great general info on the area. Their home is beautiful and every detail is thought our perfectly for their guests. Carlos is an amazing cook, so make sure you include breakfast with your stay. We will be back and will definitly be staying here again!!

Carlos & Warner were amazing hosts! So many good things to say about the environment, cleanliness, the breakfast every morning was wonderful! They were able to give us great information regarding where to go , what to see & even go as far as telling us which routes to take that were better! They gave us great information on places to go eat and suggested certain ones that would work for us throughout each day! The natural wildlife was everywhere on their property, which was such a joy to see!
Can’t say enough good things about our whole experience there.

Our stay was too short! We had high expectations returning to Nuevo Arenal and Casa Donna Rosa, and Carlos and Werner excelled! Such a great experience! They think of all the details. Don’t skip breakfast! So good! Invaluable excursion help!

Best B&B experience we have had
My husband and I stayed in the wonderful Royal Coop Suite at the Casa Donna Rosa Bed and Breakfast. We felt like royalty between the stunning accommodations and the attentive host. They were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions but also made delicious breakfast for my husband. To top it off they provided bananas to attract tropical birds to the porch of our room.
Carlos and Werner know how to do things right.

Our hosts at Casa Donna could not have been more helpful and accommodating! Prior to arrival they helped us plan the perfect activities based on our interests to maximize our time in the area. Their in depth knowledge made our trip amazing. They handled all the reservations suggested restaurants and made everything easy. As most other reviewers mentioned, the breakfasts were outstanding. Our family of 5 enjoyed every single one. And the birds on the property were spectacular which was an added bonus. Thank you Casa Donna for making our trip a memorable one!
