Residence Yasushi

Beautiful hotel with private onsens (set at 40deg and 42deg) which you can book in 30 min slots. There's complimentary afternoon tea - there were cookies, brownies and matcha cupcakes during our stay and the brownies were delicious!!!! Breakfast is also included, which includes a hot meal (some variation of bacon and eggs) and a mini buffet of cereals, cakes, yoghurt and juices, which is also delicious. And the coffee just from a simple self operated machine was pretty decent too! The room was spacious, clean and quiet. And the beds were comfortable. They also provide yukata and hotel slippers to wear during your stay (shoes are removed before entering the lobby). We moved from another Nozawa Hospitality property, so all our bags were moved for us and placed in our room which was so convenient! They also provided transfer to Chuo Terminal after our checkout. And they can also provide shuttle service to Nagasaka ski area in the mornings if you pre-book. Definitely wish we stayed here longer but it wasn't available for our dates, and I understand why, as this place is divine. (Stayed January 2024)

We receive a very warm welcome with local knowledge offered regarding where to hire skis at a discounted price and recommendations made for every type of meal request. Rooms were pleasant, clean and modern. The pillows and sheets were high quality and the bed super comfy. The customer service was excellent. Between 3pm and 5pm there were coffee, Tea, brownies and cookies presented in the breakfast area. A nice touch. Fantastic place!
