I stayed here for one night with a friend. I have stayed here once before, a long time ago. My impression of it was generally good. This time, I chose this inn at the request of a friend who wanted to stay at a ryokan in Nozawa Onsen. The facilities seem to have been improved quite a bit since then, but they are basically the same old ones as they were back then. There was one unfriendly young man who was the waiter, and this one person made my impression quite bad. My impression of the others was generally good, but overall it was not the kind of service you would expect at a high-end ryokan. The hot spring was as expected. I think the large bath, which naturally supplies the hot water of Nozawa Onsen at the right temperature, must have taken a lot of effort. Some people may choose this inn because they want to take a bath in this hot spring. The food was not bad, but considering the high price for inbound tourists, I can say with confidence that it is not good value for money. The ingredients were from a ryokan in the upper 10,000 yen range. In conclusion, the hot spring was as expected, but the rest of the inn was mediocre and not good value for money. It also seemed like they were resting on their laurels as a long-established establishment, so they should reexamine their service.
