Overall a good hotel, located close to many very popular touristic attractions (Eiffel tower, River Seine etc…) and close to several metro stations (6mins walk). You can also find a grocery store 2 mins away from the hotel.
That being said, there are a few negative elements : the hotel is getting a little outdated, especially the rooms and the amenities. The gym would require a few extra machines but it is better than most of the hotels in Paris.

The hotel is fine. The location is little far and requires change of Metro. Not a big issue though. 

Our experience of check in was not great. The staff dealing with us was not helpful. Even though we had made prior request for rooms on same floor or adjoining- he gave us on two different floors. Kept on saying we don’t have any room available!!! It turned out that refrigerator in one room was missing and so then they gave us a replacement room on same floor!!! One expects reception staff of hotels like Novotel to be more accommodating and supportive.

It is located at the 15 arrondissment, a fairly quieter and safe area in paris! the hotel is just less than 5mins walk from the metro. The room is bigger than i expected and all the facilities look new. I was pleasantly surprise by the room as it has a balcony which you can go out. As a solo traveller i felt quite safe since the police station is just opposite. Vaugiraud station is on the Line 12 of the metro which is easy to access to most of the attraction. Lastly, the staffs are extremely helpful and pleasant which makes my stay even more memorable. Highly recommend

We had a comfortable and convenient stay at Novotel Lyon Paris. The location is great, with easy access to public transport and local sights. The room was clean and modern, with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. During our visit, I lost a valuable item—but to my relief, it was quickly found and safely kept by the hotel staff. They arranged for it to be FedExed back to me (at my own cost), and I truly appreciated their honesty and efficiency. The service was impeccable, and the staff were both professional and kind. A trustworthy and reliable hotel experience.

Psst: It was a safe hotel as well as they have around the clock security at the lobby area.

I and my family arrived very early in the morning at the hotel due to our flight schedule and planned to store our luggages there until check-in time. The staff informed us that although check-in time is normally at 2PM, we were allowed to check-in early... a very kind favor for us and we really appreciate this.
Another big plus is, if you are a moslem.. there is a (small) mosque just across the building.

For Paris, the room was quite spacious, but the windows couldn't be opened. It's located in a residential area, and with a metro and tram stop right outside, transportation was very convenient. Staff communication and handover seemed a bit muddled, as I was incorrectly charged for meals. Thankfully, after Ctrip intervened, the extra charge was refunded. However, I still ended up losing some money due to the exchange rate difference 😓.

The room was very spacious and conveniently located just steps away from both the Airport Express and subway station. The hotel breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The staff were incredibly helpful; they even accommodated an early check-in without any extra charge, and the same flexibility applied to late check-out. Highly recommended! Especially, Carine was exceptionally kind and helped me purchase tickets. Despite her being very busy that day, I truly appreciated her assistance.

Located right across the street from the train station, this hotel boasts an excellent location with good restaurants nearby. The service was also good. While the room was spacious for Paris standards, the furnishings felt a bit dated. Ultimately, its superb location is its main selling point.

As advertised. Spacious and clean room. Location is far from the Paris that a tourist will expect. Need to walk quite a distance from the metro.

The room was satisfactory, but you must get an invoice when you pay the city tax at the hotel, or pay it when you leave the hotel. We paid it when we arrived at the hotel, but when we left, it was not the staff who asked us to pay again. After a long explanation, the manager there came and let us leave.

It was a good stay .some rules were confusing as 200 pound  was asked before check in as a security  deposit if any damage has be done during or stay .the amount  was debited and it was credited but it was not reflecting in our bank account once we land back in our home country.so I didn't know how it works and one more thing we were given a room but when we checked the bed was broken from beneath so we told the reception to change or room other vise maybe from 200 pound deposit some amount may be have been deducted that we have damaged it .overall satisfactory stay

I would recommend this hotel, especially because the rooms are spacious compared to other hotels in the same price range. Check-in was smooth even with a late arrival, which was a relief.

I booked this hotel because they said they have sauna and steam. However, I did not give them the full mark because the sauna and steam was a joke. First of all, the whole floor was smelly with the steam and sauna rooms very cold. We went to the reception and reported. The staff at the reception came to the floor with us and she couldn't stay for one minute because the smell was really very bad. She apologised and said she'll get the cleaners to clean the whole floor and she'll come and notify us so that we can go and use the facilities. We waited for over four hours but the staff did not come so we went out. On our return, after our dinner, we went to the reception and complained to another staff as the original staff we spoke to wasn't there. In the end, the floor was cleaned and we're now ready to use the sauna and steam, they have put it on, they said. However, on getting there, one good thing was that the whole floor was no longer smelly but the steam room was not functional, it was very cold there. Now we left there and went to the sauna room and met three women sitting there very disappointed as we were. They said they have been pouring buckets of water to  generate some heat from the sauna and the whole  floor was full of water due to leak. What a joke! There was no heat coming from the sauna. We left very disappointed, it was my birthday and I was looking for a hotel with sauna and steam so I could chill out and relax on my birthday. Novotel did not make it to happen for me and I was sad and disappointed. I felt Novotel spoiled my birthday for me but I scored them 4 out of 5 because I'm not cruel.

If you’re going to Wembley for a concert it’s 10/10. Has everything around from supermarkets, food, shopping and station is less than a 5 minute walk. From Euston is around 45 minutes travel. Place is very clean and modern. Spacious and comfy. Vents a little too dusty tho and water pressure could be stronger.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in a breeze. My room was spotless, featuring stunning views and comfortable furnishings. The location is pretty good, conveniently situated near Greenwich town center, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, and dining options within easy reach. It's particularly convenient for those visiting the nearby Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the University of Greenwich. The Royal Observatory is also close by, roughly a 20-minute walk or an 8-10 minute drive. However, the hotel's facilities are quite basic and a bit dated. The room size was adequate, and the bathroom was rather standard. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, especially for a business trip.

Very thoughtful and well mannered services. Especially the very kind and gentle man at the front desk. He always took care of the guests first and eventually made them feel comfortable like their home and their problems can be figured out whatever the guests problems were he did his best to solve. I misunderstood what he said so I got the wrong room which had two single bed and I already took a shower in the bathroom. He kept saying don’t worry and gave me couple of suggestions and finally I chose I had a extra bed so that my son could sleep on his own bed. Also, I was dead tired from a long journey and he did sympathized how I felt and tried to give better service like asking housekeepers any available rooms for me and my sons to have some rest.

The front desk staff were generally accommodating and helpful during my visit, which I truly appreciated. However, I did encounter a concern during a phone call I made to ask for the address. The tone of the lady who answered came across as somewhat condescending. While it may not have been intentional, it felt less than welcoming especially for someone trying to locate the place easily. A more warm and supportive approach over the phone would go a long way in creating a better experience for first-time guests navigating to the location.

First two nights stay the service was good, but on the 3rd night we experienced delay in requesting new towels. We ask to change towels from 12pm and i have to call 3times to follow up, then received the towel by 6pm.
The breakfast menu was the same everyday for the 3nights that weve stayed, only the indian cuisine was being changed. 
The free water in the bottle should be discontinued or improve the quality. We receive some bottle which was not properly cleaned and you can see the stain on the bottle cover.
The room needs to undergo deep cleaning and proper maintenance. Toilet exhaust was not working properly and floor drain is leaking foul odour. 
You can also see old water marks in the toilet ceiling and floor tiles needs to be scrubbed and deep cleaned. 
Pest control needs to implemented as well, we found some toilet moths/drain flies inside the toilet. 
The carpet needs to be cleaned thoroughly, stains are visible and you can see the difference of the carpet color from under the bed. 
The sofa bed cover needs to be replaced, it was not fitted properly on the sofa and you can still see marks of stain from juice spill. Also, sofa bed was very dusty.
The bed headboard has red/brown stain and i was hopeful it was just paint or make-up. Dusts were all around the corner. Room was not sound proof.

Overall, since I booked the room at a discounted price i was not expecting high quality. But if you will be booking this at a normal price, they need to improve their facilities and services. The only best thing i can highlight during my stay was the excellent service of the Bar Tender on poolside cafe, the chef that was cooking my omellete for breakfast, the busboy who serves our table, and the housekeeping team on our first two nights of stay.

The hotel have a good location but they have a very bad WiFi. We often needed to go down to the reception to use the internet. 

The restaurant offer a big selection of different options on the breakfast buffet but the quality of the food wasn’t that high. It should be better with less options but a higher quality of the food. 

The hotel offers a swimming pool but it is on the lower ground which during the winter is lacking sun due to tall walls of the hotel. 

The hotel staff is very nice, polite and is always there to help.

No complains, great service, great room, close to the metro station, mall of the emirates, a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, also a bus stop, you’ll get all what you need, would come again.

I booked for 2 single bed but reach at hotel early in the morning.But,when I Check in No available I said going for a tour be back at night.But,diddnt get front desk just say.Will give you queen bed w small bed.When,I saw queen bed w sofa.Im w my adult son.Hotel no of word honour as what customer booked.I  paid for it but they base on availability.No more next time

After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience.
The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldn’t a 4-star hotel manage this better?
Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if you’re tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortable—especially if you’re staying with friends or family. To add, the bed’s mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak of—something we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotel’s location and our specific request for a high floor.
The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markings—pretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something.
On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place.
For breakfast, I agree with other reviews—it’s decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished.
One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requests—like providing coffee capsules and water—there was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard). 
Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference.
Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if they’re sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.
