Excellent hotel. very familiar. The hotel service is unparalleled. We didn't know this hotel, but we were very pleasantly surprised, as far as we were concerned, we came back and we would recommend it, we had a great stay, it is a great hotel, suitable for excursions along the coast of Cadiz, You can rest and spend with your family.

Great hotel, 4+ stars, not sure it’s a 5*. Easy to find, ample car parking,€20 a night, so a bit pricey. Reception staff welcoming & helpful. Room was a good size & bathroom fine, however no separate shower & as ever you had to climb into the bath to have a shower. Also lack of places in bathroom to hang towels to I dry off- do they didn’t dry off & needed replacing daily as a consequence. Bathrobe provided& nice toiletries. Comfortable bed. Balcony was fine- seats not that comfortable & don’t think our balcony was swept in the full week we were there- it was permanently sandy. Loved the water stations in the corridor- meant we had access to cold drinking water all the time at no extra cost. The hotel public areas were spacious & peaceful- no noisy animation at the pools. Pools were great, good towel service & pool bar/ restaurant fine. We stayed half board - buffet for breakfast & dinner. Good choice of food but as usual a few bottle necks. The drinks service at night was a bit random & we had no idea if anything was included or if it was charged to our room. I think this needs to be dealt with. Also if you asked for a glass of wine at dinner you rarely got the same size or the same wine twice. If you gave food allergies, you have to be aware. We had one person with a shellfish/molluscs allergy & most nights couldn’t eat the fish as it is all cooked on the same hot plate- shellfish, white fish etc. No ingredients list on any of the dishes. We spoke to guest services & a chef about the oriental section & he advised that as they bought the sauces in they couldn’t guarantee it was shellfish free - so just avoid that section! We ate well, however it made things a bit restricted for that person. This is a good hotel & the location for the beach is perfect. It was reasonable value for money.

Absolutely super hotel. Wonderful location, beautiful rooms, excellent service, great people and genuinely good value. Evening the poolside bar and cafe area was good value. The buffet dinners every evening were excellent with food choices for everyone from fried eggs to pork to pizza to beef cheeks to prawns to tortilla to fish to fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, lamb, turkey, I could go on for ages.

We had a lovely time. I was pleasantly surprise with the facilities,staff and the well maintained grounds. I found the charge for the car park a bit steep but apparently it is quit normal for Spain. I was also surprised that you had no free sitting area around your beach bar.

Gran Melia Sancti Petri is located on a stunning white sand Atlantic beach. Having its own subbed and excellent beach club helps visitors to make the most of the excellent location. Watching the sunset over the sea from the beach club is an amazing experience not to be missed. The hotel facilities are excellent and every where is kept immaculately. Huge swimming pool and more than enough comfortable sunbeams for all guests. The Red Level Level Lounge is highly recommended for drinks and snacks throughout the day and also for a really good breakfast in a more private setting than the main restaurant. The buffet restaurant has a great range of food to choose from for evening dinner, however, the new Entrevientos restaurant should not be missed - fantastic meats and fish. All of the staff at the hotel were amazingly friendly and helpful. It was great to meet guest experience manager Beatriz who was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Also, Carlos in the Red Level Lounge was so welcoming and always smiling and supportive. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the sun, beach, and fantastic atmosphere of GM Sancti Petri.
