Staff not very friendly. Breakfast and our Pizza at dinner was good but again a friendly smile and not having to ask for menu's and a bit of attention would be nice.

The booking process was easy as was checkin process. However, we were not told there were big functions at the hotel on 2 of the 3 nights we were sleeping there. On the 2 nights with functions we got no sleep. It was loud until early morning hours with drunk people and music. We also had 2 drunk people knock on our door very late at night and demand we let them in. We booked the hotel for sleep and sadly that was the only thing we didn't get. The rooms downstairs looked lovely, the room we were given upstairs was quite dated in comparison and had a door adjoining it to a strangers room.

We stayed 2 nights and found a really comfortable experience loved the great food in a traditional pub setting the beef with Guinness pie was superb , cosy fires and excellent thoughtful service . Very convenient top explore from and will definitely be returning

Nice stay, they just need to sort the geysers so there's enough hot water for the downstairs rooms. Breakfast only starts at 7:30, which is a bit late for business travellers.
