Brattrein Hotell - Unike Hoteller

Charmingly Classic Hotel. Very good Food at the restaurant. The salmon was great with a traditional “Sandefjord smør” sauce. The staff is friendly and gives great service. The hotel has stunning views to the lake and historical atmosphere. We’re staying for a week, we love it here.

Hotel is a bit run-down and needs a bit of TLC. Overall, my room was clean but its looking tired and worn-out. The arm on the upholstered chair in the room was ripped and torn, leather seat at the desk area was chipped and worn. Very strange mix of toiletries brands in the bathroom. Breakfast selection was limited. Hotel is located on a hill, limited bus stops nearby, so this hotel is more suited to someone with a car. Very poor sound-proofing in bedrooms - could hear TV and snoring from adjacent rooms. Noise from hallway and lift very noisy at night-time - got a poor night's sleep here.

We received excellent service throughout the week! The food was great in all the restaurants and the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. It was always a treat to come back to the room and have turn down service done. We will definitely be back! Amazing resort, excellent food and service. Our concierge Roberto was great and helpful. All the pool bartenders made great drinks . Karaoke was so much fun. The beach was rough cause of the weather. Hurricane season I guess. Would return in early spring to avoid that. Had an amazing anniversary trip.
