San Carlo Suites

We spent a leisurely 14 nights at the San Carlo Suites in October The balcony of our spacious suite overlooked the principal Corso Vittorio Emanuale. In the morning we opened the shutters and listened to the happy muted sounds of the Cafe Sicilia below. The suite was very quiet. The Suites are ideally situated to what Noto has to offer the tourist. Everything is within walking distance, cathedrals, churches, basilica, art galleries, palaces, and market. We planned to spend a bit of time in baroque Noto before moving on to explore Catania for a few days before travelling home, and had plenty of time to explore Noto and its environs. There are plenty of eateries offering a wide selection of Italian foods, and plenty of good local wines on offer. We like the Italian culture and history, and language. If you want to practice your language proficiency there’s nobody better to speak to than Laura who is there day to day. From our initial booking of the accommodation she was extremely helpful when calling from home, and full of information while we were there. Breakfasts were varied and delicious, with homemade cakes, quiches made by Marta.

Great location, fantastic service by Laura and her staff, comfortable room and beautiful common area in a small hotel in the middle of Noto. Excellent breafast and very quiet place: Close the shutters and you will sleep forever.

Loved it We loved our stay at San Carlo. What a gem of a hotel. Centrally located, beautiful accommodations and excellent staff. A special thanks to Andrea who was super helpful and nice.

Great place, location, and service You cannot find a more central location right in the middle of everything Noto has to offer. It is a little difficult to find the door because there is a cafe right outside with tables so just be aware. We had no problem with parking and there were no meters/cost right now. Not sure if that is always the case and parking is limited so could be a concern. The room was fantastic and had many extras to make us more comfortable with all of our luggage and bags(we travel heavy). The breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety. I cannot say enough about the host Andrea. He went to our car and helped us unload and load all of our bags. He went above and beyond to suggest and schedule great restaurants for us, schedule COVID tests(no longer needed), and also scheduled massages for my wife and I. He was a great help as I could text the number which was always forwarded to him so he responded immediately. Andrea really made us feel at home and would definitely love to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Noto and San Carlo Suites were amazing. Laura and Lucrezia could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Our rooms were beautifully presented and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town so you can easily walk to the main sites. Parking is close by also. A very memorable stay!
