We greatly enjoyed our three-night stay at 34 Guesthouse in Setúbal as a family of four with two young children (2 and 4 years old). From the moment we arrived, Cristina made us feel welcome with her warm and personalized service. She was very attentive and ensured everything was taken care of, from the small details in our room to the delicious daily breakfasts. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our family, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay extra pleasant. Cristina’s care and attention truly made a difference and created a very homely atmosphere. We would highly recommend 34 Guesthouse to any family visiting Setúbal—it’s the perfect combination of comfort, service, and personal attention.

The advertised welcome drink was not available. The rooms are very exceptional, beautiful and you feel comfortable. Unless you have the room on the side of the busy main road. The next day, you would expect room service to be included for € 142 a night (without breakfast). Far from it. The used coffee cup was still in the same place, the bed was made quickly and carelessly, the bathroom was found as it had been left in the morning....OK, it was Sunday and therefore possibly the omission? The next day the room was made up, except for the bathroom. The 34 Guest House is nicely furnished, but the room service leaves a lot to be desired…

We explored Portugal for 3 weeks, staying at various B&B's and hotels in 10 cities & towns. We stayed at quite wonderful places, but the BEST experience we had was staying at 34 Guest House in Setúbal. Creatively decorated, extremely clean, attentive & helpful, gracious staff, excellent breakfasts made to order, and centrally located! Staying here was a pure delight! We stayed 3 nights, we already are discussing a return & we will DEFINITELY stay again at 34 Guest House!

Loved our stay at 34 Guesthouse, we were visiting for a wedding nearby and the room was lovely, curated to the smallest detail, clean and cosy. The staff was very communicative and kind. I'd like to go back and see another room - they are all tastefully themed based on different Portuguese regions. Highly reccommend.

This is a gem of a small hotel. The location is convenient to the main square and a variety of cafes and restaurants. The guest house itself is beautiful. Each room is unique. The bed was luxurious. I look forward to coming back!

Nous avons été accueillis par Christina et Anna charmantes … pas de petit déjeuner sur place en cette saison mais Christina nous a transmis des adresses à proximité … Nous avions réservé la chambre « Lisbonne » qui donne sur l’avenue très passante … après une nuit blanche suite à la circulation … nous avons pu changer de chambre donnant sur l’arrière de la maison sans aucune nuisance sonore … nous les remercions pour leur disponibilité et gentillesse… belle adresse que nous recommandons

34 Guest House is a beautifully restored property, convenient to Old Town Setubal and the Av. Luisa Todi. Each room had the theme of a different region of Portugal, and was comfortably furnished and appointed. The rear patio is a pleasant place for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. Our gracious hostess, Cristina, recommended local restaurants and informed us of the holiday weekend festivities , including a Fado performance in the Old Town square.
