Ideal nature location out of the riff-raff, but close enough to dip in and out of Guiones fun! The view here is incredible, and the wildlife adds to the Costa Rica vibe. I woke to a rainbow and kicked back on the patio during the evening lightning show. Howler monkeys overhead in the mango tree. Iguanas, incredible birds (including the Jay in the photo), butterflies everywhere and dense jungle canopy for plenty of shade when needed. Between surf sessions, I'd dip in the pool and listen to the wildlife while enjoying the view. Everything is well kept up, and the staff is very helpful and social. It's super close to the less populated Pelada beaches but also close to Guiones and local pickleball (which I'm obsessed with). The breakfast was delicious - yogurt and granola, eggs, fresh papaya, mangos and more! Insanely good coffee and plenty of it. :-D First class experience at super-reasonable rates.

We (family of 4) stayed for 2 nights at Villa Mango. We arrived much later than planned due to a plane delay and Jo the host was very welcoming. The place is really quirky and fun, possibly a little tired / rustic but the vibe is great! It’s clean! Towels provided for personal and pool use. Air con is an extra $10 but fans in our room actually did the job fine. The breakfast was lovely - fruit, yogurt and eggs how you like. You eat with the hosts which might not be everyone’s cup of tea but was fine and good to chat about local area etc. The swimming pool is delightful - really clean and wonderful views! Would recommend a stay here.

Great hospitality, beautiful (really a profound work of art) villa with spectacular vistas, a well-kept pool, great breakfast, suuuuuper comfortable beds, and friendly pets. Peaceful, clean and safe. Thanks Joe you made us feel very welcome.

Ahh Villa Mango. Hands down our favorite place we have stayed so far. Granted..we are budget travelers and this was our splurge, but since moving on to other parts of the country and other places to stay. We appreciate Villa Mango so much. From a $ worth it perspective. ABSOLUTELY! The atmosphere is as beautiful as the pictures, no surprises, and even more importantly, the company was great. The hosts are very inclusive with their guests, and offer great recommendations. Offered to play games with us, take us to salsa dancing, and always laughing and having fun. -Kahlua the resident German Shepherd is a wonderful good girl -The pool 👌favorite part -The breakfast👌tied for favorite part (buffet style fruit, yogurt, granola, order eggs and tradition beans/rice) -then main floor terrace is where you'll want to spend your mornings/evenings I want people to know how great this place is.

Agnes and Jo are the consummate bnb hosts - they graciously host the daily communal morning breakfasts animating the table and the guests, creating a warm vibe among travellers. Their fresh fruit and juices, breads and eggs and rice/beans breakfast is just right. The view from the communal terrace is simply stunning and vast. The pool is clean and inviting. The room I stayed in was spacious and user friendly, with a great view, and a divine shower and bathroom area. They are kind, competent and friendly hosts.

The hotel is fairly priced and very inviting, Not perfect but a place my family would happily return. My kids loved the family style breakfast which was great even though no screens were allowed at the table. This was a real gift because it encouraged a conviviality. We really enjoyed meeting most of the guest who Were there The hotel has a marvelous view of the ocean which has a tranquilizing effect. We slept at least an hour More than normal which was a true joy. The pool is very refreshing, Michelle the manager knows what She is doing.

La Villa Mango est un magnifique Bed & Breakfast avec des hôtes charmants, gentils et très compétents pour nous diriger vers les bons endroits dans la région de Nosara et les bonnes personnes dont Gabriela pour faire du kayak dans la mangrove. La chambre que nous avions avait son propre patio avec hamac donnant sur une jungle avec beaucoup d'oiseaux. Le lit était très confortable et la salle de bain immense permettait de prendre de bonnes douches chaudes. Les petits déjeuners étaient copieux avec beaucoup de fruits, des œufs et du bon café. L'établissement est un peu éloigné de la plage mais c'est un plus car c'est plus tranquille et moins chaud, avec de l'ombre qu'en bas; mais la plage est quand même très accessible à pied en une dizaine de minutes. C'est aussi proche de la réserve biologique de Nosara qui vaut vraiment la peine d'une visite en bordure du petit fleuve Nosara. C'est aussi proche de la nature et un matin nous avons eu le plaisir d'entendre les singes hurleurs à l'aube.

What a gem! Villa Mango is a wonderful B&B tucked up in the hills above Playa Pelada. My room and bathroom overlooked the trees and the ocean and was a beautiful place to slow down and relax. Agnes and Jo are easy going, knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Breakfast was delicious. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here.
