This was my third stay with a group of friends for a cross stitch retreat. The atmosphere is wonderful and the bedrooms are comfortable. However the food was not ideal. Meals were served buffet style which is fine, but despite being told of a mushroom allergy weeks ahead of time, there was a mushroom main option at every lunch and dinner, making my choices very limited. I would understand a vegetarian option being mushroom based but stroganoff on both days made this tricky. Chicken pieces were also served both days so food was very limited in choice.

We loved Adam - they're the front of house person and what a welcome! Give Adam a pay rise - your greatest asset.
The food is fine - very tasty, basic fayre, and plentiful (nothing fancy).
Downfalls? the gym, sauna, swimming pool and hot tub. Super small and not really a 'feature'. Unfortunately this sold the stay for us - so we were really disappointed not to be able to enjoy it as we would have liked to. plus, even when we did get into the hot tub (it was full most of the time), the chlorine stung our eyes too much. And sadly, the pool is tiny.

Average hotel at a fair price. Corridors were dusty and bathrooms look dirty / worn.
Breakfast had a very good selection, although the food was average and not very warm.
Would stay again if price was as reasonable.

We have recently got married and we picked Sedgebrook Hall to host our little intimate wedding, we had the use of 2 rooms. They went above and beyond to make our day so special and they kept us on track. We want to give a special mention to Helen from the event planning she made us not worry about a thing and we could just enjoy the day. Also a shout out to Rebecca Kitt as she was with me every step of my planning.

Happy receptionist who greeted me very helpful. Had the pool to myself. Roome very good fornthebprice. Comfy bed and desk. Bar area staffed and prices not too bad for a hotel

Check in was quick and easy. Reception directed me to a side door to save walking all through the hotel. No issues with that but the door to gain entry was very hard to open. Had a code but someone had to help to get in as the door was very stiff and hard to open. Room, even though radiator was on full, was cold. No radiator in bathroom so the one radiator in the bedroom had to cover all. 4 small pots of milk, only lasted 2 cups of tea so could have done with more.
Bed very comfortable but as room was generally cold, not enough covers and no spare in cupboards.
