Hotel Cabana Oceanfront/Boardwalk

When we arrived to Hotel Cabana the reception staff was extremely welcoming so we thought it would be a great trip. We got to our room and the door wasn’t aligned right so throughout the next few days it took us numerous try’s just to get it to open. The tv wouldn’t work so we couldn’t watch that. They put out instructions on how to get the tv to work but it kept getting stuck at the input screen. The bathroom was extremely small with barely enough room to change. There was no hand soap at all and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. The floor was dirty and when we walked across it there was residual sand or dirt that stuck to our feet so we kept our sandals on whenever we would need to walk around. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. We all ended up with back pain and none of us got a good nights sleep. You can hear everything going on above you and outside in the parking lot/pool area. Our air conditioner made a constant buzzing noise so we kept that off for as much time as we could. Only one outlet worked in the whole room so we had to take turns charging our devices. The location was right on the boardwalk so that is what made us book it but we will unfortunately not be staying here again.

The cleaning service did not want to come to our room. Even after we requested them to. You always have to ask for fresh towels and was cloths. They say the room can accommodate up to four people but they only have one drawer for your clothes. The TV is primarily set for those who speak Spanish and the pool is filthy.

The pics online don’t do justice on how terrible it is. The lobby and top deck are the only nice parts. The pool is not a vibe. They bait and switch. Booked two rooms deluxe queen and had no table as shown in pic. Was in a different building with tiny dump room. Good luck sleeping as they have bright lights outside all night w broken curtains. You hear the other guests snoring. Mold on ceiling. No soap,tissues,cups. ******** on parking too, the Pier is right there so it’s packed. A room doesn’t guarantee a space.$20 daily to park. You get the bare min for max price. The mgr doesn’t care to make any thing right. they are cheap look at the repair work in pics speaks for itself. Don’t do it.

Sweet lil spot above the Boards. Had a nice view and the terrace was all ya needed to rest relax and reset for next adventure. One group was a little loud into the late hours but front desk was on it right away. We loved our room was clean and ready for us early. Some cosmetic updates are visible and maybe not everyone’s taste but we didn’t mind and really when they accept animals you have to be grateful and understanding. We are going back asap

We stayed at the Hotel Cabana for 2 nights in July. The room large, clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. On the boardwalk across from the Seaport Pier. The staff is friendly and promptly helped us when we got locked out. Would definitely return.
