Excellent food and staff We went for a meal as we're staying nearby and so glad we chose this place I would recommend booking to eat as lots of people were there. Very good food and beer was just right Would definitely recommend if ever in north walsham

Unbelievably awful. I was put in a room which had been used previously by an inebriated bar customer who had urinated up the wall and on the carpet. The room stank but I could not keep the window open due to the noise of the air conditioning unit right outside the window. I believe the bed had not even been changed from the previous occupant and the room had not been cleaned. It was smelly, unhygienic, dirty and utterly disgusting. When the facts came to light and I complained they did not even have the courtesy to reply. My advice is to stay well away.

Went for the Sunday carvery today. This was by far the best Sunday roast I’ve had in a while. Would highly recommend. As for the lovely lady serving she was so efficient , professional and well mannered.Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Just popped in for food after visiting North Walsham's Cat Pottery. I went for the KA Big Brekkie (aka full English). The breakfast was awesome, I have tasted sausages with such flavour, ever before. Don't get me wrong the whole "breakfast" (it was 1.30pm - not many places do all day breakfasts anymore) was great, but the sausages - wow. We'll be back

I stayed at the Kings Arms on Friday 3rd May 2024 with 3 other friends during a bikepacking journey across Norfolk. Friday was horrendously wet, so we turned up as 4 soaked cyclists and the pub owners couldn't have been more helpful! They showed us where to put our bikes, showed us our rooms, and even offered to wash and tumbledry our wet and muddy clothes. A complimentary breakfast bag was waiting for each of us in the rooms. And the food and atmosphere was amazing. They were having a karaoke night, I think a favourite of locals judging by the amount of people there. But we were far too tired by that point to take part. By the morning, our clothes were waiting for us, and they happily refilled our bottles with water before we set off again on the next leg of our journey. A really warm and welcoming pub. I'd highly recommend anyone in the area pops in and, if you have the chance to stay there, please do!

Just got back from 2 nights in Norfolk and stayed at the Kings Arms. Great pub / hotel, we had a meal there, which was typical pub grub, but nicely done. We stayed in a twin room, which, although small, was adequate and spotlessly clean, the bathroom was also very small but a lovely, powerful shower and nice fluffy towels and again extremely clean. The breakfast to go pack was great, and we appreciated the fan in the room. The staff at the King's Arms were all helpful and friendly, we had an issue with our TV, which unfortunately couldn't get resolved but not for the lack of trying by them, and it really didn't bother us as we were not in the room much anyway Small parking area, but I did notice a couple of car parks nearby if we had needed them. I would really recommend the Kings Arms as a base for a visit to Norfolk, and if I'm ever back in the area, I will stay again.

What a nice place with friendly helpful staff, especially Hannah who made our arrival and booking in process so easy. May not do breakfast but that does not detract from the place. Tight for parking but main square is just around the corner. If you are going to be in the area give it a try.

Lovely room, fabulous bathroom, very clean & tidy. The meals we both were excellent. The 2 young ladies working on our arrival were so friendly helpful with nothing to much trouble. Can’t fault them.
