Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton North Port

Upon arriving our digital key worker without having to check in the front desk. That’s a rarity. The room was spacious and clean. Double queen room. The bathroom was spacious. We didn’t have to straddle the toilet to close the door. The room kept noise out nicely. There was a big storm that came through and could not hear the thunder. We did lose the tv but that’s satellite for you. For breakfast it was continental with hot options of scrambled eggs, some sort of a potato and hash mix and sausage patties. Also the make to order your own waffles. They had a choice of vanilla or pumpkin spice. Vanilla was fairly close to oringinal with a slight flavor. Choice of juices as well. Front desk staff was very friendly and smiled a lot. Including th me nice lady at the breakfast. Welcomed guests, talked to them and was pleasant. Overall nice stay. My only request is that Hilton revisit their “hot water” and coffee. It’s luke warm at best. At 645am the hot water in reception area was barely warm. The pool was nice and clean. They have guest laundry onsite if needed. Other than the “hot” beverages it was a very nice stay.

Troubling experience with the staff and management. I would reach out to the manager, Daniel Harrison before staying here to be assured the charges will be correct and that you will receive service. He was uncooperative with me, however. I am a regular traveler and chose this hotel due to location of my business. I stayed 3 nights and received no service to the room at any time. I kindly requested the first day that they just update the towels. It is Florida, very hot and if you participate in any outdoor activities, you go through towels and showers quickly. They agreed that they would refresh them, but arriving back at the room at 11:00pm that night - no towels. The 2nd day I asked again, "will you be servicing the room today?" The front desk looked at their screen and said, "yes!". Again, we returned around 11:00pm to no service, and now a pile of 8 towels on our floor, overflowing trash and no coffee cups. I had to return to the front desk late at night to get enough towels to shower and settle in for the night. I called the hotel to address this, since they also have yet to return my "incidentals" deposit after 5 full days, and was talked down to by the front desk. I was instructed that I could dispute the charge with my bank if I didn't get the deposit money back. This is not acceptable customer service. All I am asking is to pay what I booked the room for, and to have hospitality service while I am there. I would caution staying here. Seem like it is hit an miss whether you will receive service or not.

The staff was very friendly. It was very clean. I would stay there again.

Only one elevator was working but not really a problem

This was a very nice stay. I’m in the process of relocating and it’s hard to go from place to place, especially with my kitty. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating, I ended up extending my stay with some help from the great front desk staff, because I just didn’t want to leave a great place. The prices just happened to be a bit too high for me to stay longer but if money was better-relocation is brutally expensive-the prices would have been totally reasonable. Thank you to everyone!
