Best Western Plus North Platte Inn Suites

Best Western has become my new favorite place to stay when I'm traveling. From Nevada to Nebraska to Iowa to Pennsylvania to Tennessee to Florida, over the last 20 years, I have never been disappointed. On my return trip from San Francisco to Chicago, I stopped at the Best Western Plus North Platte Inn & Suites in North Platte, Nebraska. Locate at 3201 South Jeffers Street, off I-80, the four-story hotel offers 146 rooms, including 24 suites. Among its amenities are a 24-hour front desk, 24-hour indoor swimming pool, fitness center, business center, free private parking, 24-hour laundromat, dry cleaning, lounge and hot tub/whirlpool. And a hot buffet breakfast with coffee, juices, waffles, pastries, eggs, fruit, bacon, sausage and cereals. I booked a King Room with a king-sized bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, air conditioning, free wi-fi, flat screen TV with cable programming, complimentary wireless internet access, private bathroom, desk/work area and iron/ironing board.

This property is lovely and well maintained. It is easily accessible off the highway, and sits next to a farm equipment dealer and a fantastic military memorial. (I highly recommend enjoying this at sunset. It's spectacular to see how the waning light reflects off the brickwork). This hotel offers large, spacious rooms, a sundry shop, pool with hot tub, workout center and FREE hot breakfast. The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower worked well. But the A/C unit? A 747 would have been quieter!! If you turned it off, you were incredibly hot. By leaving it on, sleeping was impossible. The toilet stopped flushing. It was a mess. The breakfast was better than most: eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit and cereals. Great location, it just needs some minor adjustments.

Great place to visit. Love the area. Visiting Gold Spike Railroad. Very interesting. Hotel is very clean and comfortable beds.

Very clean and quiet. The bed was on the soft side but it was comfortable. The front desk workers were very nice. The breakfast had so many choices, something for everyone. If I.am ever back in the area will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were everything you need...quiet, comfortable, and clean. We checked in fairly late, and the front desk clerk could not have been nicer or more accommodating. She was a bright spot in our stay at this property. This hotel is located just off of I-80, so it is quick to get to and quick to return to your travels. There are numerous dining and shopping opportunities near by.

Top notch all around. Carpeted but clean. Nice bathroom, plenty of hot water, A/C worked well with wall control. Micro, fridge. Comfortable beds. It had a couch, chairs, and was spacious. Quite a nice room. TV was fine. Blackout curtains. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs (scrambled and folded), sausage, bacon, breads, yogurt, cereal, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc. Nice eating area. Would definitely return.
