The online photos have done a great job of not making this place look like an ageing motel, which it basically is - but it's a little more impressive than it looks. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the price is fair, and it's a pretty good place to get your head down for a night's sleep. Good things - the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were free snacks (chips, candy etc) and water in the room. Welcoming, friendly staff. Breakfast was in a really cute retro room (would make a great filming location) and the man in charge of the food was taking great pride in his job. Free hot drinks and popcorn at all times. Not so good - unfortunately the wifi was absolutely terrible. It hardly ever worked, and when it did, the signal was so weak that you really couldn't get anything done. It was essentially the same thing as having no wifi at all. Also, our room was very clean, but because it was old, there must've been some tiny gaps in the door or window frames, because there were tons of little flying bugs in there.

The place is run down. We did not feel safe. Staff members were friendly and did a good job. Otherwise, not a good experience. Toilet was loose, wi-fi did not work, some of the latches on doors were missing, bugs in bathroom just to name a few of the problems.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is so friendly! Charming mid-century motor inn with colorful tile bathrooms and cool dining room with free breakfast. We stopped here on our way from Omaha to Denver with our two year old. The rooms got redecorated in the 90’s, but a lot of the mid-century designs are still intact, which we love compared to the soulless big box hotels. The family running the hotel was very sweet. We had an issue with our tv and the manager came and fixed it right away. Free snacks in the room and popcorn in the lobby! Penny’s Diner is right in the parking lot and Fort Cody is a must see roadside attraction!

Old and run down. Yes the price is average for a lower quality place but I’ve seen better for this cost.
You could see light through the door. The heating/air was on odd concoction but it seemed to work for us.
It worked for the night but I won’t book again.

This is the best hotel for the very reasonable price I have ever stayed in. Nice breakfast room with no news or weather on the tv.
This is not a new motel but is nicely redone. The owner greeted us for breakfast
He is veryop friendly. I can only say that we will always stay here when we are on the 80 going east or west,
