I frequent this hotel a lot, unfortunately. The hotel frequently has internet outages that can last for days. Not sure if it is a function of the internet service provided in North Platte, or if the hotel is not paying their bill, but as a business traveler this is extremely annoying. I would recommend calling the hotel ahead of time on the day arrival to confirm that their WIFI is working that day.

History: Opened in 1994. Renovated in 2012. Interior Décor: Hampton Inn standard/contemporary. A bit worn furniture. Exterior Appearance: 4 story building Outside View from the room I stayed (400): Parking lot, restaurants, gas stations, US Highway 93 Room size: Approximately 70 square meters for King Hospitality Suite. Generous size. Location: South of downtown in commercialized area near Interstate 80 US 83 junction. Price: Reasonable for room size and amenities. Services: Friendly staffs. Bed: King - Firm. Room quality: Spacious and clean. Noise Insulation: Noisy semi trailers and trucks on US Highway 83. Bathroom: Standard size. Neutrogena brand amenities. Shower only - no bathtub.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming. It was very clean and updated. The breakfast was very good (waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, etc.) and the space to sit was plentiful. The pool and hot tub was a perfect size and clean as was the workout room. We stayed in the queen suite with sofa bed and micro/mini fridge. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Hello, I stayed at this location almost a year ago, so things could have changed ... but, I had a nice stay. The lobby was well appointed ... very pretty. My room was clean ... there was no smell. Yay! The rugs were super clean ... that is an important detail. Cathy at the desk was very nice. I had a large mini fridge (if that makes sense) and microwave in my room. The a/c worked well. The location was good. The breakfast area was very nice. A couple of negatives: 1. The bed in my room was hard. (That was probably a random thing.) 2. There were only 2 towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths in my room. I had to ask for more washcloths ... not a big deal. If there had been two people in the room, we would have needed more. That might have been random or that policy might have changed in 11 months. I would definitely stay here again. : -)

I'm not sure if this is a new Hampton Inn, but it sure appeared to be. It was clean and obviously well kept. We were at the end of a two week road trip so staying here was a great way to end the long trip. I believe the young woman who greeted us was Pam. She was very friendly and helpful on a couple of different matters. The room, as I have come to expect with Hampton Inns was very nicely furnished and spotless. I have always loved their beds and pillows which are soft and moldable and not stiff and to poofy like other hotels. This may seem like a small item, but one of the features I loved in our room was the separate usb/outlet plug box. Oh my gosh, why don't all hotels do this. There was one on the nightstand and the desk. One of my irritations is lack of plug in space in hotels. The night stand plugs are usually occupied by a lamp and radio alarm clock. I loved this extra touch! Thank you (picture included..ha). Unlike a previous review...I had no problem getting onto the hotel's wifi. The breakfast was just what we needed the next morning and allowed for an easy departure.

We stay here often on our way to and from the mountains, BUT they have made some changes. Their breakfast was AWESOME, fruit smoothies and green juices. It will make me want to stay at Hamptons way more. Safe and clean hotel. Friendly.

I spend over 200 days a year in hotels, and next to soft towels, comfortable bed, cleanliness, quiet... I really do care about the quality of the breakfast. This hotel exceeded all expectations. Friendly service, too. Will remember to visit N. Platte as I travel again in the future. This hotel had everything I just mentioned.

Desk clerk was very nice, and Richard, the manager, was on duty the evening we checked in AND the next morning. He was very out going and friendly. Was happy/grateful we chose his hotel to stay at, and wanted to make sure our stay was great. Room was very big, clean, linens were soft and comfortable. Very good breakfast, and the lady serving was great! Lots of good choices, including two hot choices! PLUS- gave a great military discount
