North Beach Resort & Villas

After staying here multiple times and being pleased this trip was different. We were disappointed with our room. We were in 812 Jasmine tower it was in need of much repair. The sofa is worn. The mattresses were awful. The dining room table was really rough looking. The icemaker was broken. There was drilling most of the day. The noise was awful. We will not stay here again. For the price you expect better.

Love the resort itself and location by the ocean and within a short distance to the Board Walk. However the furniture in Room 1807 at the Indigo Tower was worn out and dirty and needs to be replaced plus the enamel on the inside of the dryer drum was coming off. I reported the above to Christina the Customer Service Supervisors and was told she would have someone look at it. Either the owner doesn’t care or is unaware of the recent condition of the furniture and dryer. I would not recommend staying in this room until these issues are resolved.

Brittney (Front Desk) was amazing! I had a small complaint about our room location so I made a request. She patiently listened to my request and professionally corrected me about my misunderstanding of the room's location and floor plan. She later contacted me directly, after the staff readied a few rooms, to inform me that she could honor my request for a higher floor and a nicer apartment. It was a GREAT Birthday present! We'll see NB again soon.

My family and I are currently staying at north Mrytle beach villas 4900 salt creek don’t rent there never been to a place where you don’t have access to the grill this is a 3 floor house the is a spa and pool and you don’t have the option to heat it never heard of such a thing my family and I paid $4000 for the week never again northbeach was the only place my family and I would want to stay due to the experience with the other hotels on the beach The pictures below is what it look like when we checked in Friday 9/6 today 9/7 we have we check out 9/11 have no choice very very disappointed the remote on the second floor living room not to be found maintenance did very much tried to assist even bought back a remote no luck I guest myself and family will be trying out hotels we haven’t in the past paid to much not to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves to the fullest 4900 salt creek don’t rent

Britney was very attentive to our needs. She is amazing. She was able to assist us in sorting through our stay.

This was our third stay here and the first two were winners. First time in a villa / house, second a two bedroom condo in the towers. This time we were in the towers in a one bedroom condo that was run down and neglected (pics). The master carpet was trash, actual trash on it behind the nightstands, and the artwork and furniture were broken. The bathroom and kitchen were clean, so that's a plus. The pool deck is the reason we come back, it's the best in the area. I would return here, but my advice to you is get the two bedroom condo because the master will be on the ocean side of the unit. In the one bedrooms the master has a window to the hall, which is noisy early in the morning. Your enjoyment will definitely depend on the unit to which you are assigned, and the management will not respond to your complaints about the condition of a bad one. The units are seemingly individually owned, so the upkeep varies. A bare minimum of repairing and replacing or removing broken things would be good.

Horrible stay. First off their televisions did not work the entire time we were there. Also their telephones never worked. We called down for help twice but received no help. Also on one night they blocked off the pools very early and held some kind of private party. This is NOT the venue for this. Everyone paid for this facility - not for it to be closed down. I would like compensation for each night for no television and for also for the night when the pool was closed off. Will never be coming back here again!

Not the trip we wanted. Hurricane Debby coming no refund so we had to stay. Our villa was like an icebox even after turn the unit off it continued to stay running and temp wouldn’t get above 66 degrees. No sheet available for the spare bed had to go buy them. No dish towels had to buy those also. All pools closed indoor was even closed. Maintenance and house keeping loud early in the mornings out side our windows waking us early. All TVs in the unit would not change channel unless we repeatedly had to reset. . Beautiful complex but needs some work on a few things.

This review is for Unit 1806 in the Indigo Tower. Nice decor, kitchen is well appointed. Some challenges with the smart TV getting disconnected from wifi repeatedly, but was able to troubleshoot. Check in process was extremely smooth. Overall, loved the unit. Most of our complaints and issues are with the amenities and the North Beach staff. We are visiting during TS Debby and as someone who has lived through many hurricanes and tropical storms, I must share that these people overreacted to such a degree that it had a negative impact on our trip. 1-Before even a half inch of rain had fallen, the resort barricaded the elevators at ground level and covered them with sandbags. Overkill much? 1a- Shutting the elevators down like this meant that elderly residents and visitors were forced to either walk 3 flights of stairs or navigate the parking ramp. Neither situation ideal. 2- Our family has been coming to North Beach resort for a decade. The gym has always been near the entrance and teenagers accompanied by an adult have always been welcome to exercise. This year, no one told us that the gym had been moved to inside the towers, so we jogged there for no reason. My daughter is 16 and a competitive athlete with a training schedule. I am a certified trainer. None of this mattered to the woman working in the gym. She insisted that only 18 and above are allowed. I’ve literally never been in a fitness center that doesn’t allow a 16 year old to train. I called the director of the spa and gym to discuss it with her and she felt the need to insult, lie, and gaslight us, by acting like this no one under 18 in the gym rule had always been in place. Having visited for a decade, I know this is untrue. 3- The weather broke with zero rain and the sun coming out for 3 hours on Tuesday afternoon. It would have been ideal to open it back up for guests. Nope. North Beach elected to keep it closed.
