Baymont by Wyndham North Myrtle Beach

The service was great. We enjoyed everything with the exception of the brea our first day. It was warmed up from a previous day because sausage was hard and dry, and the orange were molded. Other than this everything else was great

Rooms had been newly remodeled. Very scarce furnishings no pictures on the wall etc. Not enough light to do work by Back door entrance stuck and you had to push it shut. But there was a key card entrance if door was pushed shut. Manager noted I am allergic to mold and dust and he took us down to check room before giving us a key. Appreciated that. Breakfast was usual fair, little caretaker of the breakfast bar was a helicopter mom.. She was right there to remove your dishes or help you in any way.. I always tip the attendants at breakfast BUT she had a TIP JAR out... Never saw that before!!!

The customer service provided by Joseph at the front desk was outstanding—definitely 5-star. However, I was very disappointed to be charged $100 for a towel. I had accidentally spilled orange juice on it during breakfast, and after I checked out, I received a call from the hotel informing me that my credit card would be charged for the “stained orange towel.” I was shocked and frankly appalled by the idea of charging such a high amount for an item that I know could be laundered, bleached, and reused. I was then told that the usual charge is $249, but they were “only” charging me $100. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was so clean. The breakfast was excellent. It wasn't just a basic Continental breakfast. It included hot food like sausage and eggs.
