Prince Resort

We visited for the second time. 1st time in bldg 2 which we enjoyed a lot. the view, the amenities, the service and the condo all were excellent after a day of pier fishing and enjoying the hot tub. also going for a round of putt putt around the corner and up the street. and dinner at the boundary

My experience with the prince resort mirrors some of the other bad reviews that I’ve read. We were staying for eight days, on the second day our washing machine overflowed. We called customer service and they said they would send somebody to fix it. we waited a while and then ended up going out to dinner. When we came back our door was propped open and the maintenance worker was walking away - he didn’t come back for over an hour. When he came back he stayed working in the room until almost 9 o’clock at night and was not able to resolve the problem. I had a basket of wet clothes so in the morning I called customer service to see what the situation was and they were surprised to know that the issue had been resolved. I asked if we could change rooms they said no but would make arrangements for me to use another washing machine in a different room. I waited almost an hour for them to get back to me I had to call them back to see what the resolution was. They said somebody would be up with a room key for me to use another room to use another washing machine I waited a half an hour had to call them back and the woman said she’d have to come and give me the key which she did but then I had to lug my laundry down the hall to the opposite end of the building and then do my laundry in a different room. The biggest issue I had with them was that the facility isn’t very well-maintained the staff hasn’t been properly trained on how to handle these situations and overall I wasn’t happy or comfortable at this resort and I would not go back. They offered me a free breakfast for our inconvenience but I was looking for more than that - in the end they didn’t do anything to apologize or make this right. The staff was always polite but they didn’t seem equipped to resolve or satisfy a frustrated guest.

Our fifth visit to Prince Resort did not disappoint - great accommodations, pools, lazy river and BEACH!! We chose Tower 2 Inlet view. The staff is all friendly and helpful, keeping the Prince running smoothly and looking great. We already look forward to our next visit.

My family and I have stayed at the Prince Resort 4 times in the last 10 months. We get a 2 bedroom ocean front. I can't say enough about this wonderful place. Everything was so clean and we wanted to take the beds home with us. LOL! They offered everything I needed! Will go back!

We booked for the first time at the Prince Resort as part of my mother in laws time share. We were located in tower 2 16th floor. We had 3 kids with us (10,7 and 3) The older two shared the second bedroom which was perfect and their own bathroom. The kitchen and living room were wonderful! We also loved the large table to seat all of us. We used the washer and dryer many times and it was super convenient. The kids loved the pool and the lazy river. The bar and grill on the pier was fantastic! We loved the ice maker in the freezer and the option to cook in the room. I didn’t use the dishwasher or coffee maker so we didn’t notice if they worked well or not. The elevators were not an issue only waiting a few moments for them. I would have liked to have a vacuum as well kids and crumbs but it was an amazing stay. We cannot wait to come back next year and bring more family with us!

Our stay at Prince Resort exceeded our expectations. Our 2 bedroom condo in Tower 2 was incredible. We had a perfect sunrise view as we watched the waves coming in off the ocean. That is the most relaxed I’ve been in years. We loved having the garage so convenient and secure also.

The Prince Resort is a wonderful resort for a beach vacation! The rooms have comfortable beds, large bathrooms, full kitchens, and the BEST ocean views! All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I will be planning another trip to Prince Resort very soon.

Based on pictures/reviews we chose to rent privately for a week on the penthouse floor. Total chaos at check-in. Parking garage half block away for Tower 1 condos. Pools are residential sized not a resort size pool and very dirty and no bathroom facilities at the pool sites. Elevators and condo units need updating. Our sofa just about held us upright. Elevator wait long. Water in unit would cut in and out while using. Definitely not a resort as one would imagine. Save your money!

The entire trip from the car to the room was questionable. The elevators were dirty, slow, broken, and worn. The room itself was ok. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer was nice. The view was amazing. The carpets were VERY dirty. The couch was like plastic and had no support. The bed was uncomfortable and the frame was sticking out about 4 inches and got my husband's shin a few times. The bathroom was poorly maintained. The door to the pool slammed hard on the back of my heel. Parking and the lazy river were located across the street and was pretty inconvenient. All advertisements show the pier but you have to pay $3 per person just to walk on it. We expected more from a resort.
