We had a wonderful time at Avista! The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. This is a place you could stay and never have to leave. There is an excellent restaurant on site and an inside bar as well as one out by the pool. The indoor and outdoor pools, lazy rivers, and hot tubs were well-maintained and clean. The location is also convenient to other restaurants, shops, and yummy icecream and Italian ice. We will definitely be staying again in the future. ❤️

Going down hill for sure. We stayed a year ago and it was amazing! This year not so much. Lazy River needs repairs, water was dirty in the pools outside. Kids activities either didn’t happen or were run poorly. Creepy staff member made me feel uncomfortable while returning from the beach. I’ll never be back!

Our family came for our daughter's softball tournament. This was the most relaxing vacation we have had. Cornelius, Bryan and Coach the bell services attendants made this such a seamless experience and we'll worth the money spent at this establishment. They went above and beyond and knew so much about the town and every time we saw them it was another recommendation. We absolutely would come again. Thanks also to Cornelius, Bryan and Coach for being so amazing during the 8 days we spent here! What an asset to have to a company! Hope to see you guys again!

We had a great time staying at this condo for our family vacation. The resort grounds were beautiful, and the outdoor atmosphere was fun, relaxing, and very family-friendly. The condo was the perfect size for our group and was very clean inside, which we really appreciated. That said, the interior could use some updating. There were visible paint drips on the ceilings, vents, light switches, and tile floor—clearly not the cleanest paint job, as it looked like no taping was done beforehand. It didn’t affect our stay, but it was noticeable. The kitchen had most of what we needed, including a pizza pan, but it was missing a few small but handy items like a pizza cutter. It also would’ve been nice to have basics stocked like salt, pepper, dish soap, plastic baggies, and a scrubber for pans. We know many condos don’t provide these, so it wasn’t unexpected—just something to be aware of. Overall, this was a good value for the price we paid. If you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with a great atmosphere and don't mind a few cosmetic flaws, this is a solid choice.

Had a great time at the resort. Room was very clean and up to date. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. The only issue I had was the dryer would keep cutting off. I informed the staff 2 times and both times they said it was fixed. It was not. I had to YouTube the issue and fixed the dryer myself. It needed a deep cleaning because it was clogged up with wet lint in the reservoir. Took me about 45 mins but it worked. I will be back next year.

The hotel room was disappointing—unclean and clearly in need of a makeover. The bathroom sink leaked, and the faucet was loose. The sitting furniture appeared dingy and dirty. Overall, the room felt very uncomfortable, so we chose not to stay. On the positive side, the hotel did refund us for our one-night stay.

This is my third trip to Myrtle Beach and third stay at the Avista Resort. The Avista is a nice place to stay. The employees are all very accommodating. My only complaint was that our room door was left open by housekeeping while we were at the beach. Thankfully nothing was missing. My advice is to always keep valuables locked in the safe. I was very happy to see my favorite Avista employee on our last day. Coach puts the biggest smile on my face. He’s such a great worker and a kind man. Just love Coach! Until next time.

We visited from June 30th to July 5th. We had an excellent trip, and every employee was friendly. Met Coach, one of the bellhops, and found out he grew up in the same area I'm from. Always had a smile on his face and was more than happy to give me a lift to parking whenever I saw him. He went above and beyond in every capacity. Really enjoyed the events of July 4th as well! 5/5
